We both absolutely loved this hotel - it was great to stay at a modern hotel after traveling around Sicily. The location is perfect, tons of shopping and restaurants across the piazza. We did not expect to have breakfast there, so it was a very nice surprise to be informed that it was complimentary! The breakfast itself had something for everybody, it was an excellent spread. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it was very spacious. The shower pressure was absolutely phenomenal although the shower itself wasn't large. .
The hotel staff was lovely from the front reception to the staff working the breakfast buffet. The front staff arranged our taxi pickup to the airport and the taxi was prompt, excellent stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Politeama. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was excellent. The restaurant on the rooftop serves excellent food, and is an intimate space. I recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a fairly central location. All attractions are within a 15 minute walk from the hotel, and the #1 & 2 bus stops right across the street.

We loved staying here. Centrally located in the old city and an easy walk to most of that area. Traffic is a bit over the top in Palermo, but the room and staff made us feel secure and cared for. We didn't use the restaurant as we at out most nights. Recommend the hotel, great rooms and finishes. Very comfortable.

Nice modern hotel. Excellent breakfast. Be aware that if you are on the top floor of the hotel you will be hearing people and furniture moving just above you. Unfortunately there were two loud and lively parties when we stayed that lasted until 1:00 AM on two consecutive evenings. We could not fall asleep those nights until the parties cleared at 1:30 AM. Be advised.

This was a good base within walking distance of the main Palermo sights and Old Town. The room was fine with a comfortable bed, good bathroom and I had a small balcony with a nice view overlooking the Piazza, not too noisy but I was quite high up and I think some lower down rooms may have been a bit noisier. The breakfast buffet was OK but not great, a reasonable choice overall but limited hot options and I did not think the coffee or orange juice was the best. It was good for sweet treats if that’s what you like for breakfast (maybe a Sicilian thing!). I will leave a separate review of the excellent roof bar which is a selling point for this hotel.

Outstanding! This is an amazing accommodation. It is very clean. The staff is very helpful, polite and accommodating. The hotel is right in the middle of everything. Walking distance to all the major sights. I'd stay here again.

We did not stay at this hotel. My family did, so we met up with them there daily. Close to markets and shopping, nice lobby. Excellent rooftop bar with small bites. My family enjoyed their stay.

This is a lovely contemporary property. Clean and spacious room & bath. Fabulous rooftop breakfast with panoramic city views. Friendly, efficient staff. Central location. Great stay!

Location was excellent. We spent each day walking the streets near the hotel. There were multiple restaurants nearby and lots of stores for shopping. The breakfast was excellent and all four members of my family had no problem with the selections. Also, the valet parking was very convenient. We parked the car through the valet (third party €8 per day I think) and didn't use the car anymore until we left, three days later.

Perfect location for beautiful Palermo. Next time I will get a balcony room (unfortunately rooms were sold out during my stay 😔) Rooftop lounge had amazing views. I was surprised to see a ‘cover ‘ charge per person but I guess it’s a thing in Italy. Rooms were clean and comfortable and even being on the street side, it wasn’t horribly loud. All of the staff were friendly and very accommodating Definitely recommend the hotel.
