I had a wonderful stay at Marcella. The hotel is beautiful with old world Italian charm. The room was quite nice & clean & the bed was comfortable. The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful! The staff at Marcella was always attentive to our needs & upon arrival, the gentleman working the reception desk recommended a casual restaurant right around the corner, where I enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner with exceptional service. I definitely recommend staying at Marcella if you want to be within a few miles of all of Romes attractions.

We feel very comfortable at this hotel, where we stayed for four nights, although we would have liked to stay longer... Marco's welcome was excellent, very kind and helpful. Fernando was the same when we arrived. The room we are currently staying in is beautiful and very comfortable. We love the dinner served by Salvatore, who is truly very nice, helpful, and kind, and the food is excellent, which we really appreciate. We had a wonderful time at breakfast, both in terms of our requests and the choice offered. Housekeeping is excellent. We noticed that the people who work here have one important trait in common - kindness. We will be back. Thank you.

Very good hotel in an ideal location, roof top bar is lovely. We had a city view room it was a bit noisy with but we were in a big city, it didn't stop me sleeping. Plenty restaurants/bars in the same street, a chemist and grocery shop over the road and around the corner 2minutes away. The hotel is very clean our room was a standard double and had a large very comfortable bed. Bathroom was also very clean, I would of preferred a bigger room it was too cosy for me. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room with views over the city, fabulous room and breakfast was cooked, continental whatever you wanted, staff were amazing. I would definitely go back to this hotel but I would upgrade my room. I also use crutches I had no issues walking in the hotel or getting to it apart from cars parked everywhere on paths, zebras but it made it an experience I'll never forget.

The Marcella Royal is a lovely hotel located just close enough yet far away enough from Roma Termini train station. It’s a lovingly cared for grand dame of a hotel with a very pleasant front desk staff including Martina and Mauro who gave us personal attention every day of our stay. The real draw is the rooftop garden where we had a delicious and varied breakfast every day of our stay. We also enjoyed dinner on the rooftop accompanied by a super talented jazz duet on vocals and guitar. The night was magical as we lucked out with a view of a spectacular drone show over the Piazza San Marco. We’d definitely return to the excellent hotel within walking distance of most attractions.

We stayed here for three nights and were thoroughly impressed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was exceptional, and their service was evident from the moment we spoke to them. The location is conveniently situated with good bus connectivity. Overall, we had a great experience at this hotel. The only suggestion I have is that the bathing area in the bathroom could be larger. However, I appreciate that they have lifts, even though they are small, which is a significanth thing over not having any at all.

We stayed at the Marcella Royal Hotel in Rome for one night at the end of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. The room was incredibly spacious, and the king-size bed was a true luxury, especially for Europe.
What really stood out, though, was the staff—they were warm, personable, and full of great local recommendations.
The hotel itself was spotless and beautifully designed, with a great aesthetic throughout. After a long day of travel, relaxing at the rooftop bar was the perfect way to unwind while taking in the Roman skyline.
We were about a 25minute walk to Trev and the Spanish Steps. After being surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Rome, it was nice to stay somewhere that wasn't too far outside of the city center.
We were genuinely impressed with every aspect of our stay and look forward to coming back in the future. Highly recommended!

All the hotel staff were friendly and explained things in detail, and made me feel like I was at home. The location was good, but the view from my room wasn't that pretty, but it was a very satisfying experience and a great trip. I intend to stay there again on my next trip.

The most amazing at the hotel is the personal workers; they are beyond gentilness! All of them: from the reception (extras smiles to Martina) , to the bell boy sir, the cleaning lady and the very sympathetic workers at the breakfast.
My only suggestion to improve even more is the mattress; it is very hard (they were very kind and brought pillowtop). 😊

The staff is quite nice. The location is not close to the attractions, but it is ok to the train station, about 20 minutes walk away.
