Starhotels Metropole

Everything was excellent! Air conditioning, cleanliness, no issues. We stayed in a room located away from the street (interior facing window) on the second floor (Room 216), so there was no noise at all. The group we traveled with under Gate 1 Travel had a few mentioning traffic noise because their room windows faced the street. This is due to its very convenient downtown location a mile (1.6 kilometers) from the Coliseum, and not the fault of the hotel though.

We loved our experience staying at the Starhotels Metropole. When we arrived to check in our staff member Paola was very helpful. We thought we had booked a room with a balcony as we had read reviews saying those rooms were worth the extra price but it turned out only some of the executive rooms have balconies. Paola could tell we were disappointed and upgraded us with no charge to ensure we got a balcony. We loved the room, the facilities - the gym is well stocked - and enjoyed spending time having a drink at the bar. The hotel is well situated very near the Centro Termini (helpful if coming from Fiumicino Airport) and lots of things are walkable from it. There are endless choices of restaurants nearby. We would love to stay again the Starhotel Metropole again should we return to Roma.

We enjoyed our stay at star metropole!!! VERY close to the train station and just far enough away from the tourist traps to make you feel like you get a more authentic experience. The rooms were nice and clean! The front desk was very nice and so were the breakfast staff! I would stay here again!

Best hotel room of our trip! Three people in one spacious room was no problem. Shower was amazing. Beds are hard, and all slept well. Plenty of outlets, too. Location was great. We were sick of Italian food as it was the last day of our trip and ate at a good Chinese restaurant around the corner.

This seems like a very busy hotel and we were not able to check-in early since our international flight arrived in the morning. Besides that staff was friendly, breakfast buffet was great and an easy walking distance to the Termini station. Room was spacious and clean as well. Also there are some nice restaurants (For example: Vattani) in walking distance.

We visited 6 countries on our trip around Europe and this was one of the top hotels we visited. It was impeccably clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was the best value and best food of any hotel we visited. Our walk to the train station was about 4 blocks.

Excellent experience. We stayed here for one night leading up to our wedding in Florence. The front desk agents upgraded us to a much bigger suite. It was also much nicer and cleaner than expected. Location is not great if this is your main homebase during vacation, but perfect if you need to be near the train station.

Spacious and beautifully decorated and clean rooms. Most thoughtfully/practically laid out room we stayed in while travelling a month around Europe with benches for luggage and hooks etc, small things that are really a model of what can make a stay comfortable.
The service team was also excellent, very helpful but not invasive.

Very easy to get to from Termini Station. In a pretty good area, though a few blocks away (mostly to the southeast) is a bit sketchy. Pleasant staff. Nice-quality rooms, and the beds had perfect pillows, which so many hotels tend to get wrong. Was able to check in early, and check-out was very fast. There was construction work going on in the courtyard, so there was a scaffold in front of my room's window temporarily. I'd recommend to any business or leisure traveler

Another fabulous Star Hotel. A little out of the way but convenient and a short walk to Roma Termini Stazione train station. Great rates too!
