We were very happy with our room and found it to be very neat and extremely clean. The hotel is well situated and close to restaurants and public transport. The rates were what I would expect to pay for what we received. The breakfast was excellent and more than adequate. Staff were very helpful and assisted us in locating a bag of ours that we left behind at a restaurant by accident. All in all I would go back again.

While the room was generally clean, there were some details that could be improved — such as holes in the sheets and a slow, very basic check-in process.

There’s no key card, just a code to access the room, which felt a bit inconvenient. Parking was a major issue: there’s no private parking on site, and the option recommended by the staff was a valet-style service that didn’t feel safe or reassuring. It wasn’t a luxury setup — the parking lot was dark, and the men managing it didn’t inspire much trust. With a rental car, we really didn’t feel comfortable leaving it there.

We ended up parking in the street, which was hard to find but at least only paid from 8am to 11pm — free overnight.

The neighborhood didn’t feel very safe, especially in the evening, and the noise level was quite high with constant cars, trams, ambulances, and police sirens throughout the night.

On the positive side, the nightly rate was quite good compared to other hotels in Rome, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which made going out for dinner easy.

Overall, we wouldn’t choose to stay again, but we do hope the experience can be improved for future stays.

The B& B in San Lorenzo Rome was very conveniently located with good transport, food and shopping facilities. The staff were friendly and helpful
The hotel provides access to the fundamentals you would need when travelling, drinks, food, cocktails, kettle and microwave around the ground floor area which was very convenient
There are also all the connectors and chargers that you need at short notice that you can purchase
The communal areas and bedrooms are very clean and environmental considerations are prominent
There is also a self service baggage facility which is a really great idea
The room we had was on the small side which is not a problem
There is a safe and AC. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is good - though not enough space for bathroom accesssories for 2 people
The biggest negative for us was that there is nowhere to store clothes- there is a hanging facility for shirts, jackets and trousers but no drawers for underwear, socks etc, so we were living out of our suitcase for a few days.
Other than that this was a great stay

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel overall. The rooms were very clean, and both the bed and bathroom were well-maintained with all the essentials provided. The staff were friendly and cooperative throughout our visit.

There were also convenient vending machines available for snacks and other items, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and well-presented; however, we were surprised to be told that eggs had run out when we arrived at 9:00 AM, even though breakfast service continued for another hour.

One important note: the hotel is not a 10-minute walk from Roma Termini station, as advertised. It actually takes at least 25 minutes on foot, which was quite disappointing and misleading. A taxi from Termini costs at least around €30–35, which isn’t budget-friendly.

There is a bus stop about a 10-minute walk from the hotel where you can catch the 71 bus to Roma Termini, which takes around 15 minutes. Bus service is regular on weekdays but slower on weekends, with waits of 30 minutes or more at times.

Overall, it’s a good hotel with clean facilities and helpful staff, but the inaccurate information about the location was frustrating and made our travel plans more difficult than expected.

What a lovely hotel ! Immaculately clean. The bed was really comfy. And the buffet breakfast was both varied and delicious!
The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. What more could you want?
I certainly would give this hotel a ten star rating. Thank you.

It was a great pleasure to stay here! Check-in and check-out went smooth and easy. The location is great - close to Termini station, and the attractions at the city center just in walking distance (around 40 minutes), you also can get on the bus, there are bunch of bus stops close to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, hot water, air conditioning - all was great! They also have microwave and the kettle on the first floor at the kitchen. I would definitely come back again!

Great spot to stay, particularly on a night before catching an early morning flight or train. Hotel was clean and area felt safe. I'd consider this a no-frills option when you're looking for the spot to get you close to your transportation back out of the country.

Staff was very hospitable and helped me to schedule a taxi for my airport commute. Receptionist that helped me also spoke English.

PS - Make sure you don't flip that master light switch that also disables the outlet by the bed. Gotta make sure that phone is charged. :)

This was a really great hotel a little bit off the beaten path, but the room staff and the amenities made it well worth it.
The rooms are so clean.
The A/C works terrific, which was a plus because I run hot.
There is even a mini fridge already in the room to keep your beverages cold.
The two female employees at the front desk that I encountered were so friendly and welcoming.
Grazie!! 🙏🏾

I booked a single room (with a small single bed) for three nights during the hot August summer. Booking directly from their official website was cheaper than through other booking agents.

-While my room (room 202) wasn’t big, the air conditioning was very strong and allowed you to adjust the temperature. The room also had a mini fridge, which was great for cooling down drinks you buy. However, the mini fridge does not come stocked with drinks—you can purchase them in the lobby.

-The front desk is only open until 11:00 PM. If you arrive late for check-in, they will send you an email instructing you to use the machine outside the lobby.

-I liked that they have an ice maker in the lobby, which allows you to take some ice back to your room and enjoy the drinks you brought. There’re water boiler and microwave in the lobby as well.

-The hotel is located in a small lane (without an apparent sign), so be careful if you’re walking alone, especially at night. It’s also quite far from the city center. The walk from Roma Termini to the hotel took over 25 minutes and wasn’t very pleasant. The tram No. 19, which passes by the hotel, was not operating. Instead, you can take bus No. 3 (a 2-minute walk away) or bus No. 71 (a 7-minute walk away) to reach the center. However, I found this inconvenient because the buses were sometimes late or didn’t show up at all.

-There is nothing nearby-no supermarkets.

-They have lockers in the basement. If you early check out (before 11 AM), you can store your luggage there without spending money on it.

The team is great! The breakfast and room are all so good! It’s worth every penny. Only thing is the location itself is a bit isolated. But is safe otherwise.
