Hotel Gea Di Vulcano

The hotel is in a safe area but tucked inside from the busy street. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is really great! The hotel is very close from most Rome attractions by taxi or bit of walk.

This is a great hotel. Even though it is a busy part of Rome, it is relatively quiet. Alesandra at the front desk provided wonderful recommendations for restaurants and help with getting around Rome. The room was spacious and though we had some problems with the plumbing, they were dedicated to fixing it. The breakfast was wonderful, too.

My husband and I stayed here during our stay in Rome and we loved it! It's situated down the road from the Fountain of the Naiads, which is an easy walking distance (even with me, with a cane), and access to the Metro, as well the buses. Some amazing restaurants are around the area, too, and the front desk even gave us an area map where they outlined some of their own favourite restaurants that they and their family recommend, and they did not disappoint ;)

The staff was friendly and wonderful to chat with, and very helpful! When getting there, they took my luggage up for me, and I was able to take the elevator up so I didn't need to climb the stairs. The room was gorgeous and always clean. They also supplied ear plugs, free coffee and tea in their rooms.

The free breakfasts were always delicious and there was a good variety of food and sandwiches, and of course, the cappuccino was amazing! The lady who runs the breakfast room is wonderful, and if there isn't room yet for yourself for breakfast, she will come to your room and let you know once there's a table available.

I also love the fact that's it tucked in a nice little area - they'll give you enough keys for the big front doors so you can get back in at night, as well as the gate in the courtyard, to get back to your room, so it's nice and secure in there. Not to mention that the courtyard has a beautiful fountain!

If we get the chance to make it back to Rome, this is the place where I'd like to stay, and I also would like to recommend this place for everyone, too :)

Absolutely appreciated the service of staff and the cleanliness of the room. The AC’s work very well, quite relaxing presence and quite location overall.

Easy access to metro within a 3-5min walk. The breakfast was excellent! Delicious spread of breads, cheese, salami/meats, cereal, espresso and cappuccino, fruit and juice.

The owners and staff were wonderful, the room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect. Charming hotel, great find!
