Hotel Miami in Rome

A nice enough hotel. the location was amazing - walking distance from the termini station, metro and bus stops. On a busy road with shops around open quite late, so felt quite safe.

I booked a two single bed however was given a room with a double bed. They did offer to change it - it turned out that the double bed was just two singles pushed next to each other. This made hardly any difference because there was no space in the room for even a cm between the beds and so it was still essentially a double.

They did not have ironing facilities or a kettle. The shower temperature was also slightly temperamental and either too hot or too cold with nothing in between. also seemed like the towels weren’t changed daily as I sometimes found marks I had made the day before.

The entrance doors are closed (not locked) quite late and on one particular occasion just before midnight I was not able to get back into the hotel. Luckily my friend was inside and able to open the door. When we tested it and she was not able to open it from the outside either. This was not great but luckily not a huge issue.

Don’t bother with breakfast - plenty to eat outside (that is also much nicer!). Staff were nice.

The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location – right on the main street, just a few steps from Termini Station. Super easy to get around (taxis, buses), and you can walk to most of the city’s main attractions in under 20 minutes. Since it’s in a preserved historic building, the elevator is a bit small and slow, and some of the furniture feels old-fashioned (vintage). But everything is spotless – the rooms and linens are always clean and tidy. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Breakfast is okay, nothing special. The staff is very friendly and helpful, which really makes the stay pleasant.

This is an old, creaky hotel. It has a tiny, slow elevator. You get the feeling it would have been nearly the same back when Mussolini was in power.

The rooms are small; you can walk around the bed, but that's about it. They have wooden armoires instead of closets. Our bathroom was also small, and it had no tub. Just a shower.

Everything was clean. No noise problems. The staff was nice.

Breakfast was acceptable. I'm not sure anyone outside of the US serves a really good buffet breakfast, and most American breakfast buffets are pretty weak.

The location is very good if you want to see the sights. Across the street, the Cucina Nazionale serves great food.

Would I go back? No. This is a good hotel, but it's not up to the standard I can afford. Next time I would spend more money and get a room comparable to an American Hampton Inn, if possible. This place is very good if you want a hotel that covers the basics perfectly, but if you want to stretch out and move around, you should shell out more money or stay in a cheaper area. We paid 270 Euros per night, which is a lot, but since we are not likely to return to Rome for many years, we should have spent more.

If you just want a place to sleep and clean up, you want to be near the sights, and you are concerned about price, this place is ideal.

The hotel is in a great location, right on the commercial street. Downstairs are shops, making it easy to walk to tourist attractions. There's also a bus stop at the door, and the subway is a 400-meter walk away, making it convenient to get around. The room was a decent size, with everything you need, though a bit old, but comfortable enough. Many compatriots stay here, and the front desk is also very nice. It feels good.

Everyone working there was friendly, the breakfast was good, and everything was great. Maria, especially at the front desk, was incredibly kind and made everyone happy.
It was a truly enjoyable trip.

It’s not an independent hotel, it’s part of a building that hosts a lot of other entities. The feeling of the building is very eerie and old. If tgat doesn’t bother you, you will be ok. Rooms are spacious enough but could be bigger. None of the pics describing the rooms online were true. The look is completely different. The highlight was the breakfast. I would pay more for a proper hotel next time.

The hotel is close to the train station and the entrance is quite busy. The breakfast is OK. The room is small and the transportation is convenient.
