Wife and I booked a time here for our vacation in June. I could not have imagined a more unpleasant experience.
Cleanliness: The room was filthy. There was mold and mildew in the shower and bathroom. When I spilled some water on the floor I wiped it up and the rag came back a disgusting brown. There were stains on our bedding that appeared to be urine. Supposedly they had just redone this room and it was their best. If it had been renovated, they didn't clean afterwards.
Utilities: The air conditioner kept shutting off even when you were in the room with the key in the room slot. Rome was under a record heatwave, so this was less than pleasant. Half the time I came back to the room I had to get it rekeyed, My key wouldn't open the door. The shower head barely functioned and just kind of leaked out water.
Bedding: I'm pretty sure this is what the Olympic village beds feel like, you know the ones made out of cardboard boxes. Zero padding. After just one mostly sleepless night both my wife and I woke up with a lot of back pain.
Customer service: My wife and I worked for hours trying to get a hold of a manager and working through our credit card company (we had booked through the CC travel site) to get something resolved. The hotel went out of their way to be unresponsive. Refusing to talk to the CC travel agent. Not answering the phone. Lying and saying the manager wasn't there when he was. It was so bad that the CC company wanted us out of the hotel. When I finally got a manager as we were checking out, he was argumentative and combative, refusing to acknowledge any of the issues with the hotel, and claimed that we had made no attempt to let them resolve the situation. This was a blatant lie as we had spent hours trying to fix the situation. I ended up booking at another hotel for our next two nights (Best decision I made on the trip). Since then I have been working to get reimbursed for the two nights that we did not stay and the management again has been unresponsive and avoiding our calls.

Horrible experience. Room was allegedly just renovated but it was dirty and poorly constructed. The bed was as hard as a rock, there was mildew in the bathroom, and the floors were absolutely filthy. The AC kept shutting off as well, which was miserable in the middle of a record heat-wave. My husband and I only spent one night here before finding another place to stay. We are not picky people, but it was that bad of an experience we had to leave.
The hotel management was awful. We attempted to see if we could switch rooms for a softer bed and better AC. The manager was evasive. Once we did get ahold of him, he was very combative, getting upset with us when we were trying to fix the problem. Once it became clear they were unwilling to fix the situation, we contacted the credit card company we had booked the room through to try to get a refund for the additional nights we had booked. Once again, the hotel management was evasive and refused to speak with the credit card company. They were so difficult even the credit card company wanted us out of the hotel!
Don't stay here unless you want a painful night of sleep and a headache from trying to reason with the most unprofessional hotel management I've ever experienced. I've had better stays at budget hotels in developing nations than here.

Not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are tiny, no sound proofing from the hallway. Administration should be ashamed to list this as a 5 star hotel. I would not give this hotel more than a 3 star rating. Facilites are nowhere near a 5 star hotel. Having travelled al over Europe staying in 5 star hotels, this is by far the most underwhelming property I've stayed at.
Want to iron your clothes? Not in this 5 star hotel, no irons in the room. Want to watch tv? Not in this 5 star hotel, tvs didn't work. Want to lay in a comfortable mattress? Not in this 5 star hotel, youll get to lay in the most uncomfortable and thin mattress worthy of a motel 6.
Save your money and get a real 5 star hotel somewhere else.

It was a pleasure staying at this place. The rooms was so nice and clean, we had everything we needed and more. Love the big shower, the beautiful windows, the best breakfast and bed. Everything was amazing. The service was great, everyone was so nice and helpful, we felt so seen and loved. The staff was perfect!
It is a little long away from all the typical tourist attractions and shopping but we felt safe. And it was really hot on the night and we couldn’t have the windows open because of all the noise from the road and cars. After all it is in a big town and some noise is normal, we really want to come back at this hotel!

We arrived very early to the hotel, and the hosts let us check in immediately. Very friendly hosts at the reception who helped us understand the city on the map. Our room was very clean and tidy. The location of the hotel was in an excellent neighborhood, we drove a bike to multiple places easily as we were close by. There is a bus stop also very close to the hotel. We checked out an hour late no one said anything to us. We kept our bags until late afternoon prior to our departure from Rome. If i come back to Rome, i am definitely returning to this hotel.

We ve been in Rome many times but this was an exquisite one!

Hotel is in a non-central location - nothing to do nearby. Calling this hotel a 5-star is a joke: the hotel has no pool, spa, or any amenities that would classify it as a 5-star. You have to buzz a security gate every time you want to get in to the hotel and they have to open it for you - if they are walking someone to dinner you have to wait 5+ minutes to get let in. The rooms don’t have working A/C (tried 2 different rooms) and even though they are classified as suites there is no living or sitting area to even give it such a name. Front desk staff is rude, entitled, and lies to your face. Left this place to go to another hotel that was much nicer at a fraction of the cost.

Hotel boutique with a Michelin star in the bottom, operated by same owner. That means that staff is very friendly and welcoming. Location area is good but hotel itself is located on a hidden/small street. Very comfortable and clean. It’s a boutique hotel so don’t expect the regular hotel amenities if that is what you are looking for. Overall 4.5 experience
