Great service by the bar. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Marco, the barman, was a fantastic host, empathic and joyful while working perfectly. The Negroni is great, their secret sauce makes it even better. And you also have a great garden view.

My favorite hotel in Rome! And part of my life! I used to go there 30 years ago with my parents and I still return every time I stop in Rome. All is great about this place to be honest: the perfect central location, the rooms, the building itself, the garden breakfast and bar service, this great breaky buffet...you just feel like you are in a big villa in the heart of Rome! If you are fussy like me about high standard service, then it's your place...all the nice brand s shops are in the same street or nearby...

Solid location and the concierge desk very helpful. Overall was a great experience and happy we stayed there. The courtyard was a comfy spot to hang. I wish the gym got an update, along with the carpeting in the hallways. I would recommend staying here for sure

The breakfast in the garden with beautiful trees as a canopy, attentive service and beautiful selection of food, is the perfect way to begin your Rome visit. At the end of the day, weary from walking shopping touring and enjoying all that Rome offers, returning for a cool aperitif at the outside bar is an oasis.

We recently went to this place that has been on my list for a year! It is an absolute must if you are coming to Rome! What an amazing service from everyone here: gentleman working at the door, reception lady and all restaurant staff. The garden is mesmerizing! I will definitely come back again!

The Hotel was fabulous! Perfect location, our room was beautiful & comfortable & the staff could not have been friendlier or more accomodating!

We recently had our wedding here in October of 2023 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the start, Serena was so easy to work with even with a time difference (we're in the US) and a language barrier. Her communication was excellent through all of our emails and she even worked to give us a virtual tour of the spaces since we wouldn't see it until our wedding day.

When we came a few days before our wedding to taste our menu and try the wines for the day, the entire restaurant staff was amazing. They allowed us to make some changes to the dishes to better suite our tastes. We also walked through our spaces with Serena to do any last minute layout adjustments which helped us feel so at ease with everything being taken care of for our big day.

When the wedding day came, everything went off without a hitch. Each space was set up perfectly, the flowers (ordered through Sebastian Flowers which is located off the lobby of the hotel) were gorgeous and wait staff was so attentive to us and our guests. Serena and the rest of the staff made planning a destination wedding so easy on us and we couldn't be happier with our experience (and how absolutely gorgeous the courtyard spaces are!). We highly recommend the Hotel de Russie for any other couples planning their wedding!

Didn't stay in the hotel but went for tea in the gardens. Location and environment are definitely 5* but the service was a little lacking. Rather than being shown where to go we were pointed in the rough direction by the staff which turned out to be wrong as we ended up in the breakfast only zone. We were then sent back to reception and sent off a second time in another direction, again not quite right as the door was locked off. A third attempt got us to where we needed to be. Would have been nice to be shown where to go or taken there as it was only a few meters from the reception desk in the end.
