Reviews
The location is also convenient.
The rooftop bar is neat. Breakfast is great as well with a variety of options.
Some not so good things:
1. There’s no parking available.
2. Only one elevator that gets crowded in peak times like morning breakfast force you to use the stairs, which it’s good for you health but inconvenient overall.
3. Limited food options in the rooftop restaurant
The rooftop was the best of it all, it has a great view. The breakfast had a variety of options, the drinks were expensive.
The location is convenient if you’re going to go somewhere else by train, it’s like 10 min walk from the station.
But what ticked me off was the male front desk manager who manned the reception the night of our stay. He was quite rude and he seemed so uninterested in helping me. The keycard to our room was defective - I couldn’t open our room despite trying thrice. I even double-checked the position of the keycard so that the chip was facing up. So I asked for a replacement, and instead of being apologetic for the defective card, he looked at me with such annoyance. Wasn’t even greeted with a hello or good evening. I’ve been to several hotels in Europe and Asia and this is the first time I’ve encountered this type of front desk service. Isn’t there a level of hospitality expected from front desk workers?
You have enough options at the breakfast. I really liked the desserts. The food is good, and you have a rooftop view over Rome.
The location was the reason why we picked this hotel, and we were really happy with it. Walking distance from the Termini train station.
As mentioned, the staff was very welcoming and helpful. Lovely people.
What I liked about the rooms is that they have been soundproofed quite well, and the bathroom had a great shower(head) and bath. Mhmm.
There is only one small elevator, at busy times it might take just a tad longer to get wherever you want to go.
My only small annoyance was with the tv. Most functions were disabled, no access to apps. So, it was only good for Italian channels that I didn't understand or English news channels. Would've been nice to have some music channels as background music.
No experience with the wifi, I was on my data connection the whole time (unlimited) - thanks EU.
Can definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Rome.
