Rome Marriott Grand Hotel Flora

Good location, breakfast is the best!!! Rooms are nice! Staffs probably need better training. Eg, as a titanium member, we didn’t even get any verbal congratulation when we told the front desk we were in Rome to celebrate our anniversary; let alone a small bottle of champagne or chocolate like other Marriott properties would do!

Location and room were fine, little far from the city center but this actually made getting taxi/Uber much easier.

The rooftop bar is amazing and provides great views of the city. It was perfect for ending the night with a drink.

Beautiful hotel with great staff in a perfect location. Highly recommend a high suite with balcony facing main road. They held multiple events out from blocking the road off that you could stand on the balcony at night and watch. Located next to an incredible park to walk through that has museums and holds outdoor movies every Saturday night. The rooftop terrace for breakfast has the best view to sip your coffee and enjoy. Expensive but worth it.

Beautiful hotel! Definitely worth it booking the larger room. Huge comfortable king bed! In room wall safe and coffee pot. Ice via room service. Bathroom and shower/sink area are decent sized, however the shower only has half a glass door so you have to be careful to not get water all over the bathroom floor.

We love the Flora! ❤️ Every time we visit Rome, we look forward to our stay at the Flora -- the hotel is beautiful, the staff are welcoming and helpful, the rooms are impeccable appointed and maintained, and the hotel's location is excellent. The Flora is one of the best parts about visiting Rome.

One of the best Marriott hotels. Stayed here for about 5 weeks and every day was great. The staff was always welcoming, location was within walking distance to most sightseeing you would want, many dining options nearby, but my most favorite thing from this stay was the breakfast experience. Not only was the breakfast staff lovely, the breakfast buffet was tremendous. Miss Morena and Miss Sonya were always on top of it and made the experience so special. Walking out to the terrace after your breakfast/brunch with a mimosa and enjoying the views was the cherry on top.

Only reason I have this 4 stars was due to my room. I constantly had to call the front desk due to AC issues. Fortunately I had three windows that assisted while I waited. There was a few days where I had to sleep with my windows open, and with the constant noise from the street that made sleep extremely difficult.

Even though with the AC issues I would 100% stay here again.

Didn’t stay here but we were welcomed to the hotel restaurant by Fabio, I was desperate for lamb chops and he welcomed us with open arms. We were then greeted by Jericho. A lovely young man. He was 19 but acted so mature. Very chatty and friendly. LAMB CHOPS WERE AMAZING. genuinely a wonderful experience and such a great way to end our trip.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in Rome and we loved it! The staff are wonderful and the room was clean. The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. I travel for work and this is far one of the best Marriot hotels I have stayed at so far. Breakfast was near the rooftop with excellent views and a huge selection of food items. The hotel staff were so helpful and friendly and wanted to help anyway they could. We truly can’t say enough about the service!

This hotel is perfect for a getaway trip to Rome both outside of all the tourist traps but super close to walk everywhere! We actually had two stays here and would both recommend to our friends and family but will also be staying there again on our next trip to Rome

The 6th floor breakfast offers stunning views but it’s the staff and the incredible service that makes this the place you want to stay at. The concierge Marcos was truly a life saver for us on multiple occasions with special notes for the Vatican tour he arranged on short notice as well as the restaurant recommendations he made for us. We so loved this place and the staff. The rooms are what you would expect with comfortable mattresses and pillows. But the real star here is the location and the staff.

The hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are nicely decorated. The view from the rooftop is enchanting. Breakfast offers diverse options, and the coffee is very tasty. The staff is friendly, but it seems they are not sufficiently trained, as there is a lack of communication between departments. For example, the breakfast staff was not informed about the breakfast fee we needed to pay, and we had to wait for the lady in charge of breakfast to communicate with the reception on the matter, which made us feel uncomfortable. This could have been handled in a much subtler way. Also, it seems that the two girls who are new at the reception don't get enough space to learn new things since when they start working on something, they are usually replaced by an older colleague without a real need for it. However, the girl named Hannah at the reception was very kind and accommodating, and I believe with quality training and practice, she could be great in this industry, not to mention her "Marriott smile" that reflected a warm welcome.
