Our family of three stayed comfortably for five nights in the oval room, which had a wonderful balcony to enjoy. We slept very well as the area is quiet at night. The pull out bed mattress was not quite as comfortable as the bed, though it did not keep our teen daughter from resting well. Located very close to the Villa Borghese and U.S. Embassy (a good landmark for taxis), convenient to everything. Wonderful view from the restaurant on the top floor, where the delicious breakfast is served. Very welcoming, friendly and service oriented staff. They made us feel special. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I don’t understand what the bad reviews are about. Great place! You know you’re not going to spend much time in your hotel room while visiting Rome except to sleep. I’ve been to many hotels in Europe and this one, by far, was the most quiet in a big city. Rooms are a little older, but nice. Staff was great. Breakfast was amazing. Rooftop bar was better than the 5-star pantheon iconic hotel. Concierge saved our trip by getting me a last-second Vatican tour when none were available. Nothing else needs to be said.

Location is nice. Hotel is clean. Front desk is professional but surprisingly not friendly. Upgraded to a suite but not worth it given size of suite. Friend stayed at Westin a few minutes away and upgraded to a beautiful large room. Breakfast adequate. Gym is below average. Probably wouldn't stay there again.

From the moment I arrived at the Hotel Marriott Flora, I knew my stay in Rome would be unforgettable. The location is simply unbeatable, right on Via Veneto, just steps from the gorgeous Villa Borghese and strategically located to easily reach many of the city’s most iconic sites.

One of the highlights was the breathtaking view from my room and from the terrace. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or watching the eternal city at night, it offered a postcard-perfect perspective of Rome that made every moment feel special.

Breakfast was another standout, abundant, fresh, and beautifully presented, with options to please every taste. Starting the day with such a treat, accompanied by the warm Roman sun, was pure joy.

The front desk team deserves special praise for their courtesy and professionalism. Every interaction felt genuine, with staff always ready to assist with a smile, offer helpful recommendations, and ensure everything ran smoothly.

My room was exactly what I hoped for, beautifully appointed, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I could possibly need during my stay. It struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it a welcome retreat after exploring the city.

In short, the Hotel Marriott Flora offers a blend of prime location, exceptional service, and refined comfort. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel cared for in every detail, and the perfect base for experiencing the magic of Rome.

Overall, our stay at Rome Marriott GrandHotel Flora was great. The check-in process was smooth and easy. The hotel has an older, classic style, which I truly appreciate as part of Rome’s charm — the historical architecture and design are beautiful, and I understand renovations are limited due to preservation. Inside, everything was well-maintained and clean.

At check-in, we asked if currency exchange was available at the front desk. The staff member explained they didn’t have exact euros, which I understand, but she suggested going to any nearby bank to exchange money. In reality, it’s not that simple — we ended up finding an exchange place on our own. If the staff doesn’t know the exact location, simply suggesting we Google it would be more helpful.

One highlight was the rooftop restaurant, which has an absolutely amazing view and a modern yet classic décor. Dining there felt special and added to the charm of our stay.

The only other small note: the entire hotel had a baby powder scent. While pleasant, I personally wish they used Marriott’s signature scent, which always feels fresh and welcoming.

Still, the location, service, and rooftop experience make it a wonderful place to stay in Rome.

I had a great experience! In the roof top restaurant I absolutely loved the view, especially during sunset – it was truly breathtaking. The live music was a nice touch and made the evening even better. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended!

Had a stay of 5 nights here in July ‘25. Everything was ‘adequate’ but what struck us was service is below par.

Imagine being told to buy own stamps and mail a couple of postcards? ‘Go outside to the newspaper kiosk and buy stamps then find a mailbox’. All other 5 star hotels have just put all mail together complimentary.

And water bottles wrongly ordered (by kids) took 3 days to be returned despite repeated attempts dealing with the reception. It was like ‘5-600 Euros a night per room but please pay another XX Euro for water. Ask us to take it back? Wait until they check out and add it to their minibar’.

It doesn’t come close to good value for the rates we’re paying. Sofitel Paris de Fauborg which is much better value dealt with above issues without any fuss.

Lovely hotel in a quieter part of Rome. 15 minute walk to Trevi fountain & close to many other tourist spots. The staff at the front desk & terrace restaurant for breakfast were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were comfortable & well maintained with fantastic water pressure in the shower stalls 👌

Located across from the Villa Borghese gardens, across the street from famous Harry’s restaurant, and a block from the American embassy. Our spacious room ( we used certificates to upgrade) faced the via Veneto street. The room was a little dated, the front staff check in were a bit off putting, but the breakfast on the top floor overlooking Rome was the best part. There the staff and breakfast offerings were top notch …. Tables with white crisp tablecloths, coffee presented as you like and many many delicious pastries, breads, yogurts, egg dishes etc to choose from. Have your own change for tips as the hotel staff could not change bills. And be careful ordering late night meals on the upstairs terrace…. One night we ordered 1/2 hour before closing and the waitress left and forgot our meal

Excellent stay at the Grand Flora! This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Jacob greeted up upon arriving and provided stellar service during our entire stay. Anything we needed/requested, he was happy to accommodate. He is passionate about his job and it shows. Kudos to Jacob. Breakfast was phenomenal! A wonderful selection of just about anything you would like. Service was exceptional. Drinks on the terrace are a must. The views are phenomenal and when it cools down at night, it's not to be missed. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
