**Hotel Review: Disappointing Experience at *Papillo hotel*

I recently had the unfortunate and bad experience of staying at this hotel and I must say it was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever encountered. From the moment I arrived, things started to go downhill.

Firstly, the staff at the front desk were incredibly rude and unprofessional.

The room itself was another disappointment. The air conditioning was not working properly, leaving the room hot and stuffy. Despite the unbearable heat, when I reported the issue to the front desk, they were dismissive and offered no immediate solution. After several complaints, they finally sent someone to check it out, but the problem was never fully resolved. I ended up having to endure an uncomfortable, sleepless night.

In conclusion, this hotel failed to meet even the most basic expectations. The combination of rude staff, non-functioning air conditioning, and poor room conditions made for a thoroughly unpleasant stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest looking elsewhere for accommodation.

1- there was no blanket in the room and there was no instruction on the room to call the reception. Air condition control was not working. Property is well built but is maintained very poorly. There were very few guests in the hotel and breakfast was auful. This is only a one star hotel.

The worst experience, rude staff, a/c that don’t work, no maintenance, the water is either too hot or too cold, inhospitable, we were attacked and accused of being uneducated when we asked for extra pillows or maintenance checks for the rooms. Don’t do it

Frankly I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all
The air conditioning isn’t working at all
We asked for an extra pillow but they ignored us
Food is really bad!
The staff are really rude especially the lady receptionist she was shouting and cursing at us because we told her about the AC
The water in the bathroom is either too hot or too cold
There is no air conditioning in the hallways
I’m only wondering how they got their four stars
Honestly they only deserve two!!!

Absolutely do not recommend, everyone in the hotel besides being very unhelpful is also unpolite. The carpet on the room was stained, the bedsheets had a bloodstain as well (photo below). The shower was broken and the reception guy was the only one who tried to do something, but unfortunately the maintenance guy was not in the hotel and we had to shower on cold water and a broken attachment. The TV had access to internet and netflix but it was disconnected, so I called the reception to ask for someone to help me connect the wifi, they said, in a very rude manner, I wasn’t allowed to stream and could only use the channels (mind you that I don’t speak italian, and if the option of wifi and netflix is available and not blocked it doesn’t make any sense to forbid your guests to watch TV as they please), I was also feeling sick so I couldn’t leave the room on a certain day, so I bought mashed potatos on the supermarket and they refused to let me heat it up, again, very rudely, even when I explained the situation. On the next day I asked the room keeping to come back 30 minutes later because I wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t leave the room at that time, they refused because they said they couldn’t come back and be late to other rooms (I’ve never, in my entire life, seen a hotel so bad with such bad personnel). I ordered a medicine online and when I went to the reception to see if the package had arrived they only said it couldn’t be with them because they do not receive or tell the guest if a package had arrived, fortunately the delivery guy arrived right after this moment and I was still in the hotel lobby. This hotel does not ever deserve one star, it deserves no star at all.

Papillo Hotel Roma Worst hotel on the planet! I have stayed in many hotels in my life but one is as bad as it gets! Firstly, the rooms are very average, the shower leaked all over the floor in my bathroom and the windows were broken, the air-conditioner does not even cool the already stuffy room. The breakfast appalling: everything is stale and almost inedible. The attending staff are rude and disrespectful. The lifts are slow and tiny. The hotel is about an hour from Rome and Public Transport is a combination of both bus and a train to get into the city. Taxi to Rome costs between €30 and €60 depending on traffic and attitude of driver. There is no cafe or restaurant available anywhere around the hotel to eat at. It is essentially in a business park. There is a supermarket next door and an electronics store. There is a busy freeway right next door. My advice and the advice of 30 others in our group: avoid this hotel!
