Reviews
As there was no fridge in the room, Paula provided us with small buckets of ice for our drinks, nothing was too much trouble for her. Air-con kept us cool at night we also was able to borrow an extra fan from the man on reception. The only down side was the location, which we knew about before hand but travelling on the bus and train in Rome in July heat was not an option for us which resulted in us using a lot of taxis. We don’t think the location would be too much of an issue when the wether is cooler.
I would recommend this hotel due to the lovely staff.
The room was spacious with a king bed and large bathroom by European standards.
My only feedback for improvement would be to have some kind of fan in the room, especially on warm summer days as the mini split isn't able to keep up with the hot temperatures of the outdoors of Rome.
The mattresses are uncomfortable very hard.
The shower has no towel racks. Towelb racks were too far from shower/tub. No towel hooks anywhere.
Had to use teeth to unwrap the round soap bar. Impossible to open by hand.
The heavy bathroom window's top hinge was broken. Split unit AC does not respond to remote commands but that happens at most Italian hotels.
Breakfast reference the hotel: it was good with a lot of choices including many types of cereal, oatmeal, soy milk, boiled and scrabbled eggs, yogurt, slided cheese ,, wheat sliced bread and wheat rolls, Cappucino,v espresso, latte... machine, 4 excellent jams, honey, bananas, mozzarella balls, etc.
Please fix the little issues and make it better. We'll keep coming back to Italy. This is our third year in a row despite the hotel imperfections anywhere we stay.
The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean, leaving nothing to be desired. The breakfast is also fantastic, as the hotel had plenty of options for everyone and by far the best coffee we had on our tour of Europe.
While the location is far from the main city center, calling a taxi via the front desk could not be easier and made getting around simple.
I would definitely stay here again next time I am in Rome.
