TH Roma - Carpegna Palace

From the outside, very chic, but the facade is deceiving! The bathroom and especially the shower is full of mould, and the whole room stinks afterwards!!!! Bathroom dirty. The room was very dark, everything looks more like a 2 star Hotel!! Beds were but clean. The food is extremely average. Wi-Fi with good reception. Staff helps in planning to get to the sights, which was very positive. The location is in Odrnung but only because the Metro Station is close by. otherwise, there are really better places. All in all, really amazing what you get elsewhere, all 4 stars! For a short stay it is tolerable but otherwise, the insolence of what is sold as 4 star! Longer than 1-2 days, I would also recommend not in this mould-Mufft! The rooms are simply hell! Not to really recommend! The facade is deceiving!!

Where should I start?
We have been looking for a fancy Hotel for a little Tour of Rome and discovered the Church Palace. The images spoke for themselves, 4 star + and a great atmosphere. So we are angreist full of anticipation.
The Hotel is located in no-so-good area, well it's not and from the outside, bombast looks it. The small Park area around the Hotel leaves no wishes and we have entered. Everything is black marble and very chic.
But then the great awakening came....
Check in:
There were three receptionists at the reception. No one greeted us, no "welcome", and you had rather interferes with the feeling of the man. After a dry check in we were sent with a very superficial description on the room. No explanation of where everything is at, who could help us where, where the Breakfast is or a friendly word.
The way to the room:
The marble floor was as far as look you. But on closer Inspection, the walls were very worn and dingy. None of the hotel employees have said that the way crossed a sound.
In the room arrived:
Here, the real work started. The walls were completely dirty, everywhere traces of hands, cases, strips, etc. The bed was clean, but everywhere on the night and the shelves were see glasses and bottle prints. Everything was a little sticky... The air conditioning was loud and bubbling.
The bathroom was small and shabby, everything was dirty. The shower tray was full of mold and Dirt. Also in the grout and on the ceiling. The shelf for soap, etc. hung on a screw in the wall.
The lamp on the mirror in the bathroom was broken and the paint was peeling off.
In the towel on the towel dispenser, a long, black hair hung.
To restrict all the sliding doors and into the bathroom were fingerprints.
Follow-Up:
We have angry and thought of us, we are anyway only for sleeping in the room and the Rest of the day in the city. So a disinfectant spray out and away you go.
Dinner and Bar visits:
We were then surprised. On the Homepage 3! Restaurants touted. It is just one! The Nero supplies the terrace and the Bar. The food is very average and not cheap. Wine glass full of water spots and the half full water bottle was made of "risk of injury" reasons out of the room. - Banal! The Service was not rude but extremely impersonal.!
In the courtyard of the Bar for a Drink. The waiter needs to be addressed in the Bar. Otherwise, he's not coming.. If the glasses are empty, you will not be asked whether you would like something new. - Exhausting and a little relaxing.
Other Guests:
Lot of American tour groups. Loud and, in places, very uncomfortable.
We had a "singer" in the room next door. Thanks to him, we were not able to sleep for a night. Since the Hotel can nothing for, against, also nothing was done but..
Housekeeping:
This is not a joke. By 6:45 it went off. Dust eyes, extremely noisy cleaning carts, have not made Sleep possible. To all the other tour groups schepperten the door zuklatschend through the gears. It was simply unbearable, because the walls of the rooms are very insulated thin and the doors are extremely bad, the volume is always high!
Breakfast:
A huge room, more of a Canteen atmosphere. the food is of extreme average. Everywhere waiter (your choice, of course, is not a good Morning) and stänig tables with trolleys clearing and dishes rattling. Due to the high room and the loud music as relaxing as a visit to the Romer Metro.
After two days we decided to travel back. According to the Info at the front Desk that we were to leave, it was probably more uncomfortable for the hotel employees. No apology, no questions asked. - That is a disgrace.
Conclusion: anyone Who puts actual value on good service, clean rooms, and a Little bit of relaxation, you may go here.
