Hotel Ripa Roma

I stayed here on September 1st and 2nd for work and had a great time. I recommend it.

Traveling as a couple, it's okay 👌

Great location and cleanliness of the room. If you have any issues kindly approach the staff at the reception and certainly they will look after you. Great experience and just didn’t give 5 stars to service since I had a small issue but all sorted after I have spoken with the reception staff at the check out! Keep up the good work!

Our room was clean but basic, beds were ok though, some noise but not too bad, location for us was good as our bike rental was close, lots to explore nearby, breakfast was good.

Watch out for dodgy taxi though back to airports, we booked through reception for ciampano airport, but taxi driver decided to take us to fumilargo? We spotted the signs and he turned round and took us to the other airport trying to charge us more we refused, he gave in.

Make sure when you board you clearly state your airport and fixed price. Don't let them turn on there meter.

Almost in the trastevere, but we got the balcony room with the tub.

The views were stunning like something out of a movie.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in the day time.

Be aware, there is no shower in the junior suite only a Tub. But

Great, clean room with helpful staff. For sure funky vibes, but great! Breakfast was included which was tasty and fresh. We were even able to extend our checkout to 18:00 for €70. Well worth the price in the Italian heat!

Great hotel in an ideal neighbourhood near Trastavere. Good connection to the city centre with bus. Bus number 8 takes you to Argentinta stop which is walking distance nearly to all centre. Also bus 75 takes you to colosseo. The room was very nice and spacious. Breakfast was perfect. Hotel staff very friendly.

The hotel is probably about an hours walk to the Vatican but you can either walk by the river or go parallel to it and you come across many piazza squares and market traders that really come to life in the evening's.
Our room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was a good size with a fantastic walk-in shower. It's a relatively quiet part of town, so it was nice to sit outside in the evening's on the balcony.
The breakfast area was typical with Italian style and quite large. The food was buffet style, where you helped yourself and was fit for a king. The bar area has artists on in the evening's with a full range of beers, wines, and spirits on offer. There's also a small gym on the first or second floor that's always open. If we return to Rome, then this is our first choice of hotel. Superb....

I think to be right giving 5 stars to this hotel in the heart of Rome, in Trastevere. The room is in a modern style, even if some thing is missing, like a bin in the room and there's no real wardrobe, but for one night I found this "basic" furniture very nice however. The view from the room was something spectacular! Just on the river Tevere, landscape to the south-east and you can see clearly the San Paolo Basilic and the Gazometro. We got a room in the last floor and the the view above was from the terrace, with a table and two chairs as well. The bathroom was good... not very separated from the room, but we didn't care. Shower big enough for two. The bed was pretty comfortable, the AC works great, there's also a safe box. There's a television but we don't have idea of what channels or how is screen as we didn't switch it on.
Lastly, the breakfast was great. A lot of choice as it was an international breakfast, staff very available and very careful to replace the food and check if somebody has some special request. Near the Trastevere train station (we came walking from there, but there's also a tram with a stop in front of the hotel), very comfortable, nice staff at the reception also speaking many languages. A great experience. Thanks a lot to all of you!

we loved the hotel's location in Trastevere, which is a wonderful part of Rome with many lovely eateries and cafés all around. the bus and tram stop are right around the corner, but the front desk will also call a cab for you if that's what you prefer. breakfast was okay during our one-week stay with little pastries, scrambled eggs, toast and coffee, but I would have liked a few more options such as waffles, omelets, boiled or fried eggs or some fruit salad. the rooms were a little disappointing- while clean, they are much older than they appear in the pictures and there was a truly bad smell coming from the sewers. our hairdryer was broken and it was really loud in the halls every night. the peppermint shampoo in the showers is great though, and the hotel restaurant serves decent wine for €5 per glass.
