San Anselmo

Hotel San Anselmo is a beautiful hotel situated in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to everywhere you’d want to go. Our stay was perfect in every way.

The breakfast was fabulous, with a great variety and quality. The staff, from the cleaning ladies to the receptionists and everyone in between, were excellent—always friendly and helpful. The hotel is very dog-friendly, and we felt incredibly welcome.

Our room had everything we needed, including a balcony, bath, and shower. We also had a secured parking space, which was very handy. The hotel features a small garden where you can enjoy your breakfast, adding to the overall charm.

Overall, we give Hotel San Anselmo a 10/10 and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a delightful stay.

It's close to some landmarks so good if you want to see a lot during a short break, not too far to walk for the metro either. The service was great and our room was very large & pleasant to stay in. The area is quiet which we appreciated - it's up a bit of a hill depending on how you approach it but apart from the first time with bags this didn't bother us (& we could have got a taxi had we been that fussed).

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Rome in a very quiet neighbourhood. Rooms with a lot of character and modern comforts. Nice outdoor seating areas. Excellent breakfast and a bar to have a drink.

This hotel is an absolute gem. If you wanna get away from the hardcore part of Rome in all the tourist, this is the spot nicely appointed decorations, very unique lobby crystal chandelier, the spiral staircase and the outside gardens made this absolutely a joy, breakfast Was far above what we expected plenty of meats. Cheeses something for everyone. The pastries the juice and of course your own personal server. Bringing you as much cappuccino and espresso as you care to drink. Their sister property around the corner. What's a wonderful dining experience? Quiet in the gardens, outdoors. It made for a very nice romantic night.

Great hotel in a lovely part of Rome. The breakfast, staff and rooms are first class and you are only a 15 minute walk to the Circus Maximus with the Pantheon and Coliseum only minutes further on. The square is very nice, and a charming area to walk into the centre with views across the city as you go.

Wonderful hotel in an idyllic location. Beds are excellent, staff is very helpful.

The hotel and staff are amazing. The rooms were wonderful and the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. There are a few fantastic sights only 3 mins away from the hotel. We walked to most of the sights or picked up a scooter to get to them. We had one guide who told us if he had to stay in a hotel it would be it this neighborhood. The front desk people were very nice and welcoming.

I love this hotel, it is located in a beautiful and quiet oasis of a neighborhood in central Rome. The rooms are so nicely decorated, the staff is helpful and kind. And the garden is a jewel! Breakfast in the summer in the garden. I will always remember it!
