Incredibly helpful and kind staff. They went out of their way to provide assistance and even let us check in early after a long train ride. This was a really great value and close to everything! Wonderful area of Rome to stay in with lots of restaurants and cafes and cute shops right outside the door. Highly recommend

Stayed April 29-May 2, 2025 - 2 couples
Hotel Virgilio provided the perfect stay for our visit to Rome. Rooms were compact but provided everything we needed. A self-serve breakfast was included with a good variety of hot/cold options. Located near the train station and one block off via Nationale it was a quiet location with easy walking access to all major attractions. The staff are friendly; many great suggestions for restaurants and patios were provided. Definitely would stay again.

The queen bed was 2 twins pushed together and wasn't comfortable sleeping with my wife and falling in the middle! No A/C , no ice so hope it's cool outside to leave the window open! Location is very good! And breakfast was actually pretty good too!

Our first time in Italy began with a late night arrival in Rome; tired, hungry, and overwhelmed. But Claudio’s warm, genuine welcome instantly lifted our spirits. His friendly smile, city tips, and thoughtful overview set the tone for an amazing stay. The hotel’s central location made it easy to explore Rome on foot. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Claudio's exceptional welcome upon our late arrival in Rome truly set the tone for a wonderful three-night stay. His beaming smile, thorough introduction to the area and hotel, and invaluable guidance on what to see and do (along with a handy map) made us feel instantly at home. His passion for hospitality was evident and made our visit so much more enjoyable. The hotel's superb location allowed us to easily explore almost all of Rome's must-see sights on foot. We loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

It was a very clean, spacious and nice hotel.
The receptionist was kind and friendly. It was a bit of a walk to the subway station, so it took about the same amount of time to walk to the Colosseum as it did to take the subway, so I walked. It was a hotel I would like to stay at again.

The hotel is at a great location, close to the Termini train station and within walking distance to everywhere. The staff is so nice as well and they offer a breakfast in the room for 6€.

The room is renovated and tidy, spacious bathroom also. Friendly staff. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to Termini station, well connected by bus and metro with other parts of Rome. All major sights are within 1km of the hotel.
Due to the current situation with Covid, breakfast is served in the room. It's bit monotonous, the checklist is filled in the night before and you get breakfast in the morning (not everything you mark). My advice in this situation is not to take the option of breakfast at the hotel but to eat it somewhere else.
After the check out, it is possible to leave the luggage at the reception for safekeeping, which is a big plus for the already friendly staff.
