Movenpick Hotel Sukhumvit 15 Bangkok - SHA Extra Plus Certified

We recently stayed at the Mövenpick Hotel and, unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. We stayed in room 2401 from Monday to Friday, where we encountered mold in both the shower head and shower area. Bedside lamp was broken which was quite disappointing.

The check in and check out process was notably slow, with the standard procedure of checking out and returning the deposit taking an excessive 15 minutes. This inefficiency detracted from the overall experience.

On a positive note, the housekeeping staff was very pleasant and responsive to our requests for extra toilet roll and towels. Their friendliness and helpfulness were appreciated. However, the reception staff would benefit from additional training to improve the efficiency and professionalism expected at a hotel of this star rating.

Overall, the cleanliness and service levels were not up to the standard one would expect from a Mövenpick property. Improvements in these areas are necessary to provide a better guest experience.

Frankly speaking, the general service is not very bad. However, the receptionists are not so kind and they treat clients differently. The same issue, different person get different answers. I do not think this can happen in a 5-star hotel with a long history. I will consider carefully whether to live in this hotel next time.
