Avani Plus Riverside Bangkok Hotel

Fantastic hotel. Top class in every way. Amazing breakfasts with global selection catered for. My room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and courteous. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook next time I visit Bangkok!

I was there for dinner. It was really nice and we had a good time. The dinner was great. The views were very beautiful. River, old buildings, bridges, temple, passing by boats, and all.

Our stay at the Avani Riverside Plus Hotel was outstanding. Two rooms we stayed in were spotless, with every detail meticulously taken care of, making the space feel clean and comfortable.

The breakfast selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of choices to suit different tastes. Everything was fresh, very well-prepared, including both local and international dishes.

The views of the Chao Praya River were truly magnificent. The large windows throughout the hotel provided stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset.

We also enjoyed the pool on the 26th floor with fantastic panoramic views of the city and river, and the rooftop bar and restaurant offer amazing food. It is also worth mentioning that as guests you get a complimentary boat service from the neighbouring Anantara Hotel to both Sathorn and Iconsiam piers running every 30 or 60 minutes.

I love this hotel. The staff were amazing, very attentive and helpful. I had a suite room, had an amazing view and it was spacious and very clean. The breakfast had many variations and had amazing views in the river side. Did not have a chance to use the pool on the roof top. Overall, I spend 8 nights over there and it was a very pleasant stay.

'Malinee', who works in 'The Pantry' downstairs! She was so lovely & attentive and an absolute star! She went above and beyond to serve us, and made our experience even better!

Rooms are small if you are with kids. But the view is WOW..

Staff are too courteous.. and very humble and soft spoken and you just fall in love with their hospitality.

Mr. Tee in restaurant is a superb guy. Really great hospitality shown by him.

Lady at reception is also very soft spoken..

The Indian Chef has prepared excellent breakfast for our family everyday we were here..

This was my first time staying at Avani Riverside. I did not expect much from the stay. I was a bit hesitating between Anantara and Avani because my last experience with another Avani in Thailand was disappointed but in the end I decided to give it a try and I had to say that it turned out to be one of my staycation in Bangkok;). The hotel lobby situated on 11th floor and downstair were mini plaza where you could find lots of restaurants and Banks. 7-11 also could be found here. As a Titanium member I was entitled for a double upgraded room but lucky me I got triple upgrade this time. The check in process was smooth and quick. The room was well prepared, clean and huge. I really loved how they set up the room to welcome guests( look at that pony ;). The bed and the sofa was comfy. The Housekeeping brought in the welcome amenity not so long after I got into the room. The view of Chaopraya river was spectacular by the wide windows of the room. The pool got beautiful view on the rooftop and big enough for swimming. The breakfast was ok for me but could be better with more choices of food. I felt like it's not so variety, especially for the Salad corner. And they were so kind to give me late check out until 3pm. Brilliant hotel. Room was absolutely phenomenal with beautiful views. Staff were extremely attentive and the breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at a hotel. Boat ferry convenient and easy to use and the cold towels are very welcome after the heat of the city. Opposite Asiatique which is definitely worth a visit. We asked for a late checkout which I felt was priced reasonably.
Wish the pool was slightly bigger as sun loungers were all taken throughout our stay. Only downside is that most tourist sights such as Khao San Road and the major temples are all a half an hour taxi ride and the airport is over an hour by taxi. However, I would fully recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

A bit out of the way of the busy city, but just a five minute taxi and a quiet place to rest after a long day. The rooms were a bit small and nothing to get excited about. There are several restaurants, services, and a small shopping center on the first few floors, very convenient. We enjoyed it. But being in Thailand where the advantage is your money going further, we didn’t really like that their prices were more in line with western hotels. Breakfast $20+, cocktails $15+, which is odd when you can get a cocktail in the city or down the street for $2-$3. It was nice but we wouldn’t stay again.

Everyone commented that we were far outside the centre of the city but it did not really impact us.
A shuttle boat at the resort next door can be used to go up and down to 2 different river piers.
Taxis are cheap and we used Grab easily to get around.
The mall downstairs is useful for getting some products and use of ATMs.
The highlight was Lost & Found bar which had some really great performers in an underground bunker setting.

The service was great, the room was fully stocked with amenities to make the stay comfortable.

We really enjoyed staying and would definitely stay again
