Overall a pretty good experience at this hotel. We had an issue with our air conditioning on the first night which they tried to fix a few times before moving us to another room. The new room was very spacious and close to the pool.
Service was lacking a little compared to other places we had stayed in Thailand.
The included breakfast was just okay and nothing spectacular.

Pingvman offers a decent pool with comfortable recliners, though the pool itself is perhaps too cold for long wallows. There are two jet sections, one is working. Bedrooms are spacious. Bathrooms feature a large bathtub as well as a powerful hot shower. Breakfast is simple but sufficient for a short stay.
However, maintenance could be better. We encountered an issue with the WC that remain unresolved. The gym, available from 9 AM to 9 PM, is underwhelming. Apart from two treadmills, the manual bikes are rusty and creaky with resistance dials that barely works. The sole strength multi-station is missing several accessories, and the three sit-up benches are too short to be useful. There are no towels or water in the gym, so just remember to bring them with you.
Most of the staff speak very limited English, resulting in minimal interaction, which wasn’t an issue for me. For assistance, just go directly to the front desk. One standout staff member is Lee from reception — who is helpful, friendly, and proactive.

A lovely clean and comfortable hotel designed with more traditional Thai styles in mind. The room was a real treat with beautiful wooden decor styling throughout and a balcony overlooking the pool which was great to swim in and never too busy. The staff were always pleasant, polite and attentive. The breakfast wasn’t bad but could easily be improved I think, both in terms of quality and quantity. Overall a nice stay within the walls of Chiang Mai.

We enjoyed our stay here! Beautiful hotel, good location, kind and professional staff. Rooms are spacious with balconies overlooking the lovely pool. A couple small things: Breakfast was ok but not the best. We also had an issue with the toilet in our room which the staff tried to fix but unfortunately didn’t get fully resolved.

The hotel was very well kept, the staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star is because there were a lit of noise at night. Cats screaming (lots of it) and since we were in the first floor by the pool, the second floor was very noisy in the middle of the night, so we didn't sleep well. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable.

I loved this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the decor was old style. The vibe was amazing here. Majority of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Large breakfast selection and nice size pool. All my tours picked me up at this hotel. Walking distance to everything. I would stay here again!

It is a nice hotel with all the necessary facilities and amenities. I enjoyed my stay.
If I could add, perhaps offer a bit more non-pork hot food for breakfast or maybe just make it vegetarian.

Excellent hotel if you are looking for somewhere to chill and relax, swimming and drinking cocktail by the pool. I would definitely come back.
