My husband and I returned from the Grand Mercure last week we had a brilliant time the hotel is amazing. We upgraded to a pool access room and it was absolutely worth it. We literally had the pool to ourselves most days and it’s so big. The staff just can’t do enough for you so courteous and respectful. We found Thai people to be so friendly. The decor is beautiful so many extras in our room that we appreciated such as use of a beach bag, umbrellas ( just in case) bottled water replenished daily etc. live music was nice. The breakfast selection caters for a wide range of nationalities. Really enjoyed the fresh smoothie station. Would definitely return again. There was an odd smell of garlic from our bathroom almost daily which needs to be looked into but wasn’t really an issue for us as it wasn’t persistent and with constant use of our sun loungers/pool the room was aired out frequently.

We booked for 4 night stay before Xmas 2024. Upon check in, they upgraded us to Accor member which then enabled us to check in exclusively at their members only welcome lounge. Unfortunately they were more interested in collecting our payment rather than explaining to us what our package consists of. As a result, we missed out on the “My glass” package which consists of free flowing drinks for two hours at the bar. After checking in we decided to have a quick lunch so we ordered at the restaurant which is just beside the pool. We ordered local Thai cuisine but it took almost one hour to arrive. After the lunch we lounged by the pool. Trying to get the attention of the pool bar waiters was a great challenge. They seem to ignore us. If they did attend to us, they would show such a long face like they did not want to work. Their poor attitude made us feel very uncomfortable to be at a place where no one is interested to render any service. We had dinner that night at the same hotel restaurant Bubbles. We ordered local again. The first Tom yum soup that my sister ordered was good. The second one i ordered seemed to be watered down to the point the coconut milk curdled. I’m not sure if they took it out of the freezer, boiled it quickly and added water. It was so horrible we showed it to our waitress, and even she agreed it is not normal. Anyway, she took it off the bill. The rooms and the room service is very good. It’s clean. Amenities are provided, however the electrical power points especially for the USB chargers did not work. We had to get a technician to repair it. Overall I would not stay here again. It’s only average and I have had better experiences in other hotels

Three star masquerading as a five. I think their overall rating is high because of paid/fake reviews. Had booked for three nights and left after the first.
Cons:
1. Musty smell in the rooms which just doesn't go.
2. The rooms are very small with little space.
3. Which five star takes a 1000 baht deposit from each occupant as security? Reflects the kind of people who usually come here.
4. I think the hotel gets most of its guests through travel agents and not organic customers because I would never book this again.
5. The room we stayed in was a pool access one which is supposed to have a bathtub but it didn't.
6. The linen, curtains, towels were all poor quality.
Pros:
The only positive aspects is that it is very centrally located in Patong. Book it only if you want to stay close to Patong.

Recently stayed here for 3N during my visit to Pa Tong with family .
Location is perfect with just a short walk from beach, ships and other attractions.
Staffs were really welcoming and supportive.
Rooms were clean and spacious .
Also enjoyed the pool- great way to relax .
The breakfast option was varied and fresh .
I specially loved the variety of breads and juice .
Really really had a great time here with family along with kid .

We had a truly wonderful experience during our stay! The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and beautifully designed for comfort. The service throughout our visit was exceptional – every staff member we encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to help, making our stay feel extra special.
The hotel’s attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction did not go unnoticed. We’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and will definitely be returning on our next trip. Highly recommended!

This is the third time we have stayed here and once again had an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, we knew that we were home for the next 2 wks. We were extremely grateful for our upgrade at no cost and the service was outstanding.
The room cleanliness was extremely high standard.
Lets not forget the poolside daily happy hour :)
The hotel is positioned really well as almost everything is walking distance. There are bars within minutes walking and the beach the same.
Taxi service for those that need transport is literally outside the hotel.

Hotel on location of patong beach but it’s surprisingly quiet from noise on the streets, just walking distance to beach. It’s one of best family friendly hotels, there are kid’s playroom and spa for mom, fitness center for working out. All guest rooms with view of pool and garden . The room facities are standard for3-4 star rating. Lobby area provide open air , relaxing atmosphere.

The staff is helping and polite. The cleanliness of the hotel is just acceptable. As the hotel is not new, many areas need to repair or renovate (such as bath tube, shower head and wall in the room). Too many mosquitoes in the hotel. We reserved three pool-access rooms for our group of 7 (including 1 kid). All three rooms have many mosquitoes (4-6 each) inside the rooms when we first checked in. No kid amenities provided upon request. Breakfast is not bad, and again, good services at all.

5 star hotel that deserves a 5 star rating. It has amazing services, restaurant, daily activities, pool, massage and more. They also have free shuttle (drop off only) to Patong beach. Despite of its location being in a busy neighborhood, they have tight security so you feel safer especially at night.
Service wise, I have no comment. One time I came back to the room, and the floor was wet, due to humidity which is normal, and they dealt with it right away.
The dine-in food quality is also great. I'd definitely recommend.

I had a lovely 2-night stay as I was mostly looking for a nice place to rest my head at night, while I ventured out during the day. The continental breakfast was great with a large variety of food and drink options, the pool was relaxing with only a handful of people there at a time, and the spa services were wonderful. I had a late night flight departure so it was nice to be able to lay by the pool and then have access to a shower, even though I had checked out earlier in the day.
The room itself was fine, though could have done with a better cleaning before receiving its next guest.
