Acar Hotel

I have came to this hotel twice this year. Here’s an honest and detailed review:

To start things off, staff are very welcoming upon arrival. You receive your hotel bracelet quickly after arrival. Lobby is always clean and is always a great environment.

The rooms are always extremely clean and top notch. Cleaners go above and beyond with the rooms and take the rest of the hotel’s cleanliness very seriously. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are always clean and have clean towels every single day. No problems at all with the shower; if you want to shower with hot water you’ve got it. If you want to switch to cold the switch happens almost immediately. Each room also has a balcony with a nice view of the nearby markets and restaurants.

The food in the hotel was however quite repetitive with most days we were eating similar meals. To be fair for the cheap price you pay if you don’t enjoy the food you can just eat elsewhere. Restaurants in the area are quite cheap generally. You still don’t pay too much after all that.

Two lifts are available in the hotel, usually quite empty. The hotel also has a spa and indoor pool as well as massage services(all at cost except the pool) . The indoor pool is only available for a few hours each day. However, there is an outside pool as well with a bar right next to it which is 24/7. Staff are always available at the bar at anytime of the day if you wish to have a beverage. Non alcoholic beverages as well as alcoholic beverages are available for free. In the hotel, there is also a juice machine service mango, apple, orange juice and more although personally I did not try it throughout my stays. A coffee machine is also available which you can use by yourself. On the beverages side most of them are great with a wide variety to choose from.

As for staff in the hotel, they are all great. Can’t complain about anyone. Even though some of them may have difficulty understanding you, they are very patient and try to understand and help you to the fullest.

A thing to note is that the internet is paid for. We paid €10 for one device for a week. If you have more than one device that you are wishing to connect to the internet you must pay another €10 extra for each device as each connection is only for one device. (3 devices for example would be €30 for one week). I had noticed people complaining about this on the reviews, but hey what are you expecting. It’s a 4-star hotel which is extremely cheap for its facilities. An extra €10 won’t hurt. We paid about €400 for 7 nights towards the end of the summer season. This price was for 2 people so if you calculate each night for one person would cost about €28.5 for one night. Considering the fact that hotel is 4 stars and its location 28.5 euros for one night is actually extremely cheap and affordable. Even with the €10 internet charge for a week the total still comes to about €30 a night. For those who complain about this hotel please tell me where else you’d find a hotel with this price that is close to the beach, on a busy tourist market street and close to Alanya city centre. I’ll be waiting. Those who complain are definitely people who have always went to 5 star resorts and had high expectations. I’ve went to only 5 star resorts in the past as well, but this hotel’s experience is not far from one of 5 stars if i’m being honest.

The hotel is also linked with Alanya Dental Clinic. I’ve had treatment with them which is why i’ve had to come to Alanya twice this year. If you do not have a hotel and plan to have dental care in their clinic they do provide the hotel for free which is honestly great.

In terms of the location, as i’ve mentioned above it’s really great. Close to the beach (about 300m or a five minute walk) and located on a busy tourist market street with shops selling souvenirs, clothes etc. Classic Türkiye!

All in all, I’d recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s great in all aspects and you can’t really say otherwise for the price of €30 a night when the weather is still hot.

Travelled from Scotland. Hot weather, really warm water, hotel n staff were great, very hospitable. Lots of good food in all inclusive. When we checked out, they let us stay for lunch n drinks while we wait for a ride to airport.

We arrived early in the morning and were pleasantly surprised to receive our wristbands right away, allowing us to enjoy all the hotel facilities. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned daily, and although we had a balcony facing a noisy street, it didn’t affect our holiday experience at all — we still had a great time. There are small local markets just outside the hotel, and the beach is only a short walk away. The variety of food and desserts was quite good and offered plenty of choices.
Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely love to come back again! 😊

Edi from the wellness team was incredibly warm-hearted and helpful. He didn’t just do his job – he genuinely cared. He was always relationship-focused, never pushy or sales-driven. One moment I’ll never forget is when he even came with me to help buy a swimsuit, just to make sure I wouldn’t get taken advantage of. That level of kindness and support is rare.

We also want to thank Eve from the animation team. She brought such warmth and presence to the hotel atmosphere – it honestly felt like she was part of its heart. She made us feel not just entertained, but truly seen and appreciated. That kind of energy stays with you.

People like Edi and Eve are what turn a good stay into a meaningful one. Thank you both!

I highly recommend this hotel. We spent a week there and were very pleased. The room was clean, the cleaning lady cleaned it every day. The food in the restaurant was very good, there was something different to eat every day. The hotel staff at the reception, in the restaurant and in the bar were very nice. Great location, close to the beach, bazaar and some shops.
We will be back for sure :)
