Reviews
*Food and Drink*
The food was pretty good, it has basic all inclusive style food, average but always something to eat. At lunch there was a snack bar with all the usual bits (pizza. burgers, hot dogs, chips) but there was only one guy working this and the queues sometimes were massive. The lunch in the buffet restaurant were also bizarrely stressful people would be pushing and jumping queues (but wasn’t ever like this for dinner). They also had 24/7 snacks in the main restaurant although this was seemingly leftover bread / salad from the evening meal.
During mealtimes you’d go to get your own drink, we noticed there were waiters which floated round but none ever seemed to come to us, only ever a small selection of people would get the table service. This was the same in the evenings.
The bars were good. The cocktail selection quite limited - beer and wine were ok for an all inclusive. Spirits weren’t too bad - obviously watered down but not too much.
*Location*
The previous reviews are correct, the hotel is set in the mountains which offers an amazing view and view of the sea but at that cost there are steps and hills to get everywhere - some are quite steep. Our room wasn’t too bad but some were very far away with lots of hills, in the main building (buffet, reception, pool) there are lifts and within the blocks or rooms there are lifts between floors but between the blocks of rooms there isn’t.
*Pool/Services*
The pool was cool and a good size, some of it is permanently in the shade which is good for the heat. The sun-bed situation wasn’t the worst I’ve ever seen but a choosy. You had to rent the towels with your towel card and if you wanted it changed it was €1 - we took our own and was glad because the ones supplied were low quality. There were days when people would reserve sun beds with towels to use the bed for maybe an hour and it would stay with a towel on all day, only one day did we see them removing “reserved” towels. The rule was not to take the ones out of the rooms for the pool, we seen a lot of people doing this though for extra towels. On the last day, I’d packed my towel away and took one from the room and was asked to give it to them - even though there were plenty of white room towels out “reserving” beds. It could be one rule for one and one for another quite a bit sometimes.
The shops were good, full of the knock off stuff at okay prices they didn’t hound you as you walked past either they only spoke to you if you’d gone into the shop. The market shop (like a supermarket) was good but expensive and they did just make most of the prices up. We didn’t use many of the other bits, but there was a hairdresser, tattoo shop and a photo studio.
We didn’t go the beach, I didn’t realise when booking but it’s a 15 min bus ride away, the busses are free and about every hour with a break at lunchtime. There is also a bus to the shopping centre which costs €1.
*Entertainment*
The entertainment people were amazing, always something to do each day and a couple different things in the evening, Mami was amazing remembered our names the whole time and always made an effort to come say hello and ask how everything was.
We will be definitely back with more friends!
Special thanks for the great service to Wael from the pool bar, Ahmed from the lobby bar and Mosaad from the Reception!
The animation team were superb and the entertainment around the pool each day was great, they were so friendly and got everyone involved, without being too pushy.
They also took the time to come and interact with everyone...We'll done!!!
All staff were very helpful when we needed anything
There is a free bus to the private beach each day.
We did not go with children, but it is a great family friendly hotel.
I would love to go back and can highly recommend this place 😊
Some services were slow and could do with more staff or organised better. Saw a man who looked like a manager shout at a child for dropping his waffle. These are some of the reasons for losing a star
Hotel rooms were air conditioned and also had lots of information about the hotel in booklets on the desk in the rooms so you didn’t have to worry about how to do anything whilst they were there. Rooms was cleaned everyday as well, we mentioned between us many times that we’ve never seen a place so clean before, staff love to make sure the place is clean and tidy!
During the day the entertainment team always keep you occupied and make sure you’re having a good time. Whether it was coming to have a chat with you at yours sunbeds or on the evenings, they were always trying to socialised with hotel guests. They also had many activities throughout the day including darts, shuffle, water polo, dancing, table tennis and many more. A couple members of the team were definitely stand outs for us including Azzad and Mammi, always energetic with there games and also there to just have a nice chat too as well. There was two other members as well that were made a difference to our holiday, however we didn’t catch their names, one was a girl from Kazakhstan and the other was a lad from Guinea, these two were often having conversations with us and trying to understand our language better (English) and it should they’re really trying to connect with us on our holiday, which we massively appreciated.
All in all, this hotel is amazing and for the price we paid we feel like we have had a bargain. The only downside I would say is the location of the hotel, however they run buses to the main locations in the area like Alanya for just €1 each way. So still out of their control and they’ve still done their best for their hotel guests!!
Highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to visit Turkey, I’d happily come to this hotel again as our experience has been amazing!
