Emporium Hotel

To start with the rooms:
we booked double room. The room was too small we could barely able to move.

The window view was the inner side of the hotel and it is closed, so we were not able to had fresh air and the view was the opposite window.

They did not change the towels, only one time per 7 days.

They don't clean the room, just tidy it up.
The air conditioner turn on and off suddenly, we asked to maintain it but no answer.

The location:

The location is really good and close to the tram station, 5 min walk. Besides, it’s close to a lot of shopping markets and grand bazaar.

The hotel reception is in the first floor, so you need to climb up the stairs with your bags. And each time you come tired you need to climb up stairs to reach the elevator.

But I have to mention that we we arrived, 5 min later, the waiter come to help us with holding the bags

The reason I can't give more than 3 stars is the horrid smell that came from the bathroom throughout my 5 day stay. It spread to the whole room if the door wasn't closed, and staying in the bathroom was absolutely awful. This wasn't going on in my room only but also a friend's room. Besides that, the room was nice and clean even through it was a bit small. The hotel overall is very beautiful and very well placed, being next to a tram station and close to shops and tourist spots. It also has a nice view. The breakfast was tasty and pretty varied. I would have given this hotel 5 stars but the smell thing just can't be ignored.
