Excellent and comfortable hotel. Great location, staff at front desk are extremely professional and helpful for directions. Breakfast was classic Turkish breakfast. Room was a little small because of how big our bed was and our AC was a bit weak for hot August weather, but these are only minor.

Perfect location and place for the price we paid.The staff was very very kind and helpful with everything we needed, and they were very friendly and professional, specially Enes at the reception and others also. The breakfast was good they tried to change some of it daily. The neighborhood is great and it’s near to everything ( 5 min walk to metro, Galata tower, Istklal street). We stayed there for 7 nights the day before we leave they gave us a book as a gift and left some snacks on the door handle for our way home which was great. And almost forgot the beautiful terrace on the roof with city view. The only downside is that the building was a bit old and the room was a bit small but you could live with that it was perfect place for the price we paid.

The second time that I stayed here, this time with my parents and it was again perfect. The staff is amazing and ready to help with everything. The only point that I would suggest to improve is the space for the breakfast, now it's a bit small and usually very busy, and in some rooms the windows are old and thiny so noise can easily penetrate from outside.

Great location, very close to Galata tower. Very friendly stuff. The room however had some problems. When we entered there was a bad smell, which went away after we opened the window. The bathroom had some mold and there was not a mini fridge in the room. The breakfast had a good variety of foods and many traditional things, not only the classic hotel breakfast things. The stuff in the breakfast area were very nice and they even offered us a lunch box the day of our departure. I recommend it

The hotel location is very close to the metro, Galata Tower and Istiklal Street. The breakfast was excellent and the hot snacks varied every day. But in truth, I missed good coffee at breakfast. There was only black coffee. Interior details can be updated and cleaned more often in hard-to-reach places such as chandeliers. But day cleaning and changed of towels was done daily. But the faucet in the shower is new and worked great. Although there is not enough mixer in the bathroom and the smell was not good if I’m close the door to the bathroom. Very nice staff. I had an early departure and they prepared a lunch box for me.

The hotel's location couldn't be better. It's close to the main sights, shops, cafes and restaurants. The closest subway station is a few minutes away.
The historical building is so elegant and well taken care of. Its design (the stairway, paintings, elevator) is antique and just beautiful. There is always a terrace just perfect to enjoy the sunsets.
The hotel staff is friendly and does everything to make you feel welcome. Huge thanks for the recommendations as well as for the communication before our arrival with some advice on transport etc.
Initially I booked a room in a different Meroddi hotel but we were relocated to an upgraded building and greeted with delicious desserts upon our arrival. It was a nice surprise.

Had pleasure to stay here with my husband in May. Beautiful, quiet, cozy hotel. Excellent location! Wonderful and very helpful staff! I want especially mention Osman on the front desk, he was extremely helpful and pleasant! He made us literally feel at home! Definitely recommended!

Great place to stay in Istanbul! Near all the main historical places and landmarks, as well as to the Istiklal street and Beyoglu with many places to go out in the evening. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. We had breakfast included in accommodation and it was very delicious, actually traditional Turkish breakfast. Staf is excellent, but special thanks to Osman for all help. He literally had the answer to any our inquiry and his suggestion were great!

Quiet, clean and very comfortable place, but the most impactful feeling I had was the magnificent staff they have. The front desk people, the best I ever tried before. Thanks a lot for being so kind, supportive and warm.

Meroddi is a nice hotel with strong 4 star review , but id like to give a 5 star review because of guys on reception. Customer service of these guys is one of the best that I saw in 5 star hotel as Mandarin or Rixos. Especially Huge Thanks to Osman, personally I wish him all the best in his career. So friendly, always ready to help and give good advice. What a great professional!
