Hotel New House

We stayed a week here and it was strategic for visiting the city. The owner of the hotel is very kind and advises you on what to do. The transfer service he offers is excellent. We recommend it

First of all don’t expect this to be a 4 🌟 hotel. This is your budget hotel if you compare with UK hotels.

I didn’t expect much, all I wanted a decent place to sleep after all day exploring the beautiful monuments in Istanbul.

Me, my wife & toddler had a room with 1 double and 1 single bed. We had a kettle in the room with tea bags coffees and sugar cubes. There was a small fridge in the room as well & few bottles of water. Bathroom was clean and they did provide clean towels. We didn’t use the TV in the room.

The room was cleaned every day. The receptionist were friendly but they speak bare minimum English. I had to use google translator once or twice. TURHAN the night receptionist was very friendly guy who booked our taxi to the airport as well.

The mattress was decent as well and you can go in and out whenever you want.

They have a small lift where only two people can squeezed in to go all the 3 floors above.

The tram stop called Cemberlitas is 20secs walk from the hotel. Very good location to be honest. Specially all the convenience shops near by as well.

It can be a bit loud when you’re trying to sleep at mid night because of this hotels location as people are talking loudly and doing their business outside. Overall I don’t have any complaints.

I didn’t pay for morning breakfast as I was excited to have mine outside. So can’t comment on those.

There is a review to rate the hotel!The hotel is located near the tram station.By T1 tram you can visit many destinations in Istanbul.The hotel is near the Grand Bazaar,Laleli street,SultanAhmeta,Aja Sofija,Blue Mosque.The location is ten.We stayed in a triple room for 7 nights.The view was fantastic, into the green trees.Our alarm was the chirping of birds, real magic.The room is big. Everything is as it should be. If I needed a kitchen, I would book all the dishes for the apartment and not a triple room! We came to enjoy the charms of Istanbul.We enjoyed it here. We walked all day and when we returned to the room we were left with beautiful impressions.The staff is kind. They want to help. And the maid is a very good woman. I have to single out Emre.Emre .... The owners of the hotel are happy people to have you. You made our stay better. You are a real receptionist. He always helped us! We will not forget you. The overall impression is a big ten! Thank you!

room and bathroom are small, really bad internet connection, only 1 keycard, muezzin sings really loud(seems like speakers right in front of the windows) but for that price that is all fine. nice guys on reception and good breakfast

We had a great stay. Basic hotel with clean room and basic amenities. Great location and good staff. Recommend this if you are looking for a comfortable stay and not luxury one with pool etc and plan to be out most of the time to explore the city.

Value for money. Rooms basic but cleaned daily. Breakfast was good too. Reception staff friendly. Wifi quality not always great in the room.
Very close to Cemberlitas tram stop and a 5 minute walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar. Very central and convenient.
