Vialand Palace Hotel

The rooms were massive and I really felt like royalty being there.
We had a buffet breakfast and even though there weren’t much people I was surprised at how many different foods they offered. They had so many cheeses, meats and bread. They had maybe eight different foods warming on chaffing dishes. They had a coffee machine and juice machine where you could press a button and the beverage of your choice would come out. They also had real honeycomb for people to take. So I really commend the breakfast buffet.
The mall is really close by, just take the elevator and the mall is either really busy or quite quiet. It was a surprise when we went from empty hotel to mall hustling and bustling with so many people 😆
Just a small caution is that there is like an alarm singing thing coming from the mosques at certain times so search that up so make sure you know what it is.
Overall we had an excellent time.

Spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet included. Attached to a mall that was convenient for children. Offered food, shopping and for me the best was a food market.

The venue's name accurately reflects its high standards. Service is exceptional, and the staff consistently demonstrates friendliness and attentiveness. This extends to the concierge service as well.

Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at the hotel — the staff were polite, the grounds were well-kept, and the atmosphere was pleasant. However, there are a few areas that could be improved:
1. The elevators need maintenance — they made unsettling noises, which felt unsafe. Lubrication or a technical check would be helpful.
2. The breakfast could be more diverse — the options were rather limited.
3. We were not allowed to heat up food, which was inconvenient, especially when traveling with a child.
4. The room cleaning was done, but not thoroughly — there was still dust in the room, and the bed linen had a tear.
5. There were confusing traffic signs on the property, and it wasn’t clear if taxis were allowed to enter.
6. There was no ramp for a stroller, so we had to carry it up the stairs.

I stayed here with the Turkish airlines stopover program and I had a wonderful stay. It is great that there in a food court above the hotel and also a shopping mall. I felt very safe in my stay here as a solo female traveller! A bit far from the city but the hotel was great with amazing views.

A Bit far away from main attractions of Istanbul but there is a mall connected to the hotel.

This theme park hotel is very accessible to a mall. The rooms are super huge and very beautiful.

Wonderful stay with family
Overall I was very happy with my stay. The hotel itself was great. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds and lots of pillows. Great seating area with a dining table and chairs to eat. Extra sofa and armchairs so great seating area in addition to bed that is present in the room. Staff was very kind and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Showers/bathrooms were great. The hotel is attached to a mall which is nice as it was easy to get groceries as there was a grocery store in the mall and easy to get food as there was a food court in the mall. Downside to the hotel is that it is about 30-45 minutes from the main touristy areas like Old Town Sultanahmet or Taksim Square which was a pain when it came to getting taxis. In order to go or come during premium times taxis would continuously cancel on Uber unless I was willing to pay an extra premium. In USD it wasn't bad in honesty but still annoying to deal with. Otherwise, the only other downside specific to the hotel itself is that the hallway corridor is very dark at night in a couple areas. We arrived at 2 AM to check in and the staff was wonderful. The bellboy/receptionist were fast and efficient and helped check in easily. The lighting in the hallway where the rooms were located was not ideal but all in all a very minor issue. During the daytime and evening hours when people are typically awake that was not a problem. Only an issue in the direct middle of the night. Overall, would use this hotel again.

I recently stayed at Vialand Palace Hotel in Istanbul as part of the Turkish Airlines complimentary stopover offer and had a positive experience. Despite some mixed reviews here, I found the hotel to be a pleasant place to stay. The building itself is charming, and the rooms were clean and spacious. The service at the hotel was decent, though there is room for improvement. The front desk staff, particularly Gülşen and Ergan, were quite helpful. Thanks to the staff for their efforts. Tip: I arranged an airport pickup through the hotel, which cost USD 60 for a one-way transfer (cash payment only). While the service was convenient, next time I would take an Uber/taxi which is easy from the airport and more affordable.
