Reviews
The rooms are smaller than what is shown in the photos. Although having old furniture is not a big issue, but the serious problem is the cleanliness and tidiness of the place.
We booked a room and when arrived, we were given a different and smaller room where the washroom has plumbing issues. Sound insulation was awful, during the first night we could not sleep and we had to change the room the next day. That was a bit of a hassle. The breakfast buffet was not good, food is not fresh, no much variety, and many items are tasteless.
We lost three days of our vacation because we chose this hotel! If there is less than one star, I would choose it. The rooms are small, The furniture is worn out, the bathroom has a bad odor and is not clean, the water pressure is insufficient, and there was a water leaking from shower the hand sink had some broken areas, and no blankets are provided. The front desk staff is unpleasant and impolite after long discussion and wast of time, they changed our room for other one lettel better than the first one . They made our stay uncomfortable.
The breakfast was a mess! We suffered tummy pains after the first day and decided not to eat breakfast there again. It is not clean, cold and not fresh at all, and there are no options. The restaurant has nearly no air conditioning, so you will feel as if you are in an oven! The coffee corner in the room was empty when we checked in, and whenever you requested something such as blanket or more pillows, they either refused or claimed that it was not available
!There is no isolation, and the hotel is incredibly noisy, especially the ones on the ground level near the reception; you will never be able to sleep if they assign you one of those rooms. The hotel's bed and pillows are really uncomfortable.
The lighting in the room is inadequate, and some of it does not work. The televisions are really small!
Even if there location are good but there is a lot of other options near by and have better quality and services with the same price per night.
There are numerous additional difficulties they have, thus the conclusion is (DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU WANT TO ENJOY YOUR VACATION).
The rooms are 1000Lira per night, and BE AWARE that this hotel has ROOMS WITHOUT WINDOWS facing the sky - but some horrific dark hall. So, ask them for a room with the normal window with DAILY LIGHTS AND FRESH AIR - as I am claustrophobic, this worked.
The rooms are not the newest, nor showers (tails) but for the price, it is bearable. The size of the rooms (I sow a few) are also not big, but for a coulple for a few days its OK.
The service was pleasant and visible they are trying: as THERE IS BREAKFAST INCLUDED IN THIS 1000 T. LIRA PER DAY/NIGHT, AND BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT! Every morning from 07-10AM they cook something newish, tasty, SOUPS, HOME-MADE CAKES, eggs in variety of wasy... gosh, I got now hungry.
Not bad for few days if you are not choosy, you don't need to impress any one, but only to overnight and hit the road in vast Istambul offer.
This hotel is near to sirkici metro station and all amenities.
You can access an additional sea ferry and tram transport within 10 to 15 minutes.
