Kaya Izmir Thermal & Convention

I came from London to Izmir for medical reasons and stayed at Kaya Izmir for 3 nights. I initially booked for 2 nights but after my massage treatment I booked another night solely for the Spa. The hotel itself can do with improvement, but the two gentlemen Kemal and Kaan working at the Spa reception were exceptional and made up for it. I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation towards Kemal and Kaan, thank you so much for being so kind and professional. The restaurant in the lobby was great, however the main restaurant downstairs’ food was not great. For a 5 star hotel, I was expecting better food and cleanliness, as I have stayed at other hotels in Turkey such as Hilton and their food and cleanliness was exceptional. My room also had a bad odor due to the outdated carpet. But again, the staff were absolutely amazing. The staff’s attentiveness and hospitality made up for the lack the hotel obtained. Each and every personel I spoke to were super polite and quick to help. Without the staff, it wouldn’t be classed a luxury. Kind individuals like Kaan and Kemal as well as other staff made it a luxury.

I stayed in this hôtel for one night with a Group of Fram travel agency (20th of august 2024)
I & all Group members highly recommend this hôtel : a real 5* hotel with High quality facilites (pool, spa, fitness, rooms,…).
Food variety and quality in the restaurant is just « Whaou ! » . The staff was very attentive and took great care of us.
Special thanks to staff during breakfast who prepared for me a personalized omelette.

Spa review
On February the temperature in thermal pool was very comfortable, hamam and other saunas were nice. The water in jacuzzi was too hot.
We were on weekend so there were a lot of people. And prices also are high: we didn’t stay in the hotel, so pay for spa 975₺ per person. Also you can order a massage, it would be more expensive but you can use spa for free all day
