Renaissance Izmir Hotel

Rooms are nice and comfortable. Location is very nice. Lobby is practically non-existent so if you need or like lobby meetings or similar activities it’s not for you. Service is okay i.e. plain, polite but not that attentive. I mean there is nothing to complain about but if you are regular at 5-star hotels then you’d feel the difference. Haven’t been to their breakfast as I have chosen to go for a Turkish traditional breakfast at the nearby place (I wrote about it). Nothing else to say. Otherwise its a very good hotel - I stayed here a couple of times. I would definitely recommend it.

Conveniently located steps away from the shore and got upgraded junior suite with Bonvoy status. Lounge offers happy hour but no breakfast.

Great experience! The hamam type bathroom was a wonderful surprise in our room! We will be back for sure! Great spa and massage as well! We stayed here because we had an excellent experience last year by chance in the Spa, and we were not dissapointed! Great rooms, really clean, truly great service! Greatly recommend! It is in a wonderful location as well!

I was traveling with my 88 year old father. Hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. They all were so professional and accommodating when we encountered some challenges. Spa services were also fantastic. We loved the location, rooms were also very clean and quiet. Restaurant menu was good and food/drinks were very tasty. Thank you all so much for everything you did to make our trip comfortable and memorable.

The hotel itself is big and very clean. The rooms are very comfortable with great views of the Izmir Marina area. They have great customer service here!

Our stay at Renaissance, Izmir was so enjoyable. They have the best staff who are extremely helpful. The location was perfect and the room was great. Special mention about Ms Pelin at the navigator desk. She was extremely helpful, regarding our routes, navigation and suggestions to visit the best places. Very pleasant demeanor and awesome service. The hotel staff makes up for some minor wrinkles. Location is great. Walking distance from good food, shopping and other entertainment near the pier. Also taxi stand right there. For all other needs, the staff is more than happy to help. Food in the hotel itself is ok. Breakfast has variety but compared to nearby places, it’s just ok because food is lukewarm. Drinks at the bar are also not so great. The bartender could use a bit more experience. The staff and service in the spa are amazing and well worth a visit. Rooms are nice and tastefully decorated. My room had a problem initially but the staff worked with me and changed it. A great mention for Mr. Kemal Cihan who made the stay there great with superb and friendly service. Kemal is the friendliest, happiest and most professional host! He was there everyday and always helps with a pleasant disposition! This is great when returning from a business meeting exhausted! The macaroons are a sweet touch!
I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Near the Promenade, a comfortable venue with attractive interior decoration and helpful staff. Spacious and clean room, yet water pipelines should be cleaned more often. Worth recommendation - the nearby competition is tough: Movenpick, Swissotel, Double Tree in the radius of not more than 500 meters each.
Airport prick up overpriced: 2000 TRY offered vs. less than 500 TRY is you take a regular taxi from arrivals!

Great size bathtub in the junior suite, and a very friendly welcome note and nibbles. A generous private lounge for evening bites and drinks.
Extremely well priced for the value you get. Daily cleaning and turn down service .

Had the chance to try their spa on the last day and both hamam and massage were excellent.
Good location, 10 min walk to the restaurants and bars.
A 15 min walk to the old bazaar area
2 min walk to the sea and the port.
It's a good place for any work visit as well as a central place for a tourist stay.
All the staff were very helpful, and their concierge Pelin was extremely helpful and reliable with all the tours and restaurants we wanted to book as well as gave very accurate recommendations based on what we wanted.
All in all a very amazing visit. Will definetly be an option when we visit the city again.
