Swissotel Buyuk Efes Izmir

This hotel is my regular address whenever I visit Izmir, and they never disappoint. Despite booking in advance, the hotel was nearly full upon arrival, yet they went above and beyond by upgrading my room to a higher floor with a beautiful sea view. The receptionist, Cagla, was outstanding—she made me feel comfortable and welcome, ensuring everything was perfect for my stay. Her warmth and professionalism truly enhanced the experience. I only wish I could stay longer, but I have an early flight tomorrow. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Izmir—thank you to the incredible team!

Recently stayed at Swissotel, and it was a wonderful experience overall.

The location was convenient, making it easy to get around, and the hotel itself offered a sense of luxury and comfort.

Prices have definitely gone up compared to a few years back, but the quality of the experience made it worthwhile.

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome.

Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and very comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day.

It's not a hotel, it's an institution. It's full of history, timeless interior, art and good food. The staff is amazing. You can approach anyone and ask anything and they will help you right away. My daughter had fever at midnight and they sent an infrared thermometer and a bowl of yoghurt right away. The pool was closed due to off season, but the weather was great. So the staff anticipated the guests' wishes and opened the pool impromptu. Shout out to our housekeeper Nazire who was our host for the second time ❤️

Very good hotel. Friendly staff. Good food, tasty breakfast. Close to the sea. We will definitely come again. Good internet. Very large beautiful territory, wonderful spa with a large pool, interesting sauna. One of the best hotels here in Izmir.

I’m here at the hotel for an extended stay for business and I have to say this is the best experience I’ve ever had in a hotel! The location is near everything you could possibly need and the hotel is just beautiful. They have an amazing gym, spa, indoor/outdoor pool areas, and a very nice restaurant on the top floor.

The staff has gone out of their way with every interaction to make sure they’re giving me the best experience possible and I haven’t had any issues with them whatsoever.

I also want to give a special shout-out to the cleaning service staff for doing such an amazing job every day always making sure I’m as comfortable and taken care of as possible. The woman who I usually see day to day is Hafize and she is wonderful and she always does such an amazing job!

Thank you for making my stay here so relaxing and making my temporary home feel like a nice escape from work!

It was a perfect stay from the booking to the hotel that was very easy thanks to Mammet Jan at the front desk. Rooms are large and clean. The checkout was also easy. Nupelda and Ismail were very professional and helpful. They helped us store the luggage in the hotel until our flight time.
The location of the hotel is very nice, in the center of the city but at the same time it is quite neighborhood. You can walk to different places. The hotel has a very beautiful swimming pool and artworks are adorning the hotel.
It has a very good valet parking service but you have to pay for it.

This was an amazing hotel! First, I cannot speak highly enough about the service. My luggage was lost by the airline on the trip in. Our concierge, Sadi, went above and beyond in helping us get settled, arranging for necessary toiletries to be delivered to our room, and even contacting the airline to follow up on the status of the lost bag. He was truly a master concierge and made the trip great!

The rooms were also very nicely appointed and well stocked with water and even chocolates to welcome us to the room. The amenities at the hotel were wonderful, including a huge pool with a bar. The breakfast was very delicious and had a large variety of food.

I travel very frequently for work and I can say that my stay with Swissôtel was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I'd definitely stay again!

I don't see how anyone would have any complaints about this hotel, I'm currently still here on my 3rd day and it is simply the best hotel I have ever seen and had the pleasure of staying at. The food is incredible all over, the staff are very kind and attentive, the rooms are spacious and clean, the pool the same, the resturants here are beautiful and serve amazing food. With this kind of service, of course it is a little pricey, but very much worth every penny spent. The best part of this hotel is the rooftop bar and restaurant, absolutely incredible views, especially if you time your meal with the sunset. I had the lobster and it was cooked perfectly and tasted incredible. We was served by Esra and she was very polite, kind and attentive.
100% don't stay anywhere else other than here if you are planning the perfect trip to izmir. You can't get better than this.

We stayed in this hotel when we visited Izmir. The location is great it is right in front of the pier and we could easily travel around the city from this hotel.
The rooms are exactly like the pictures (or even a bit better). They have a Good proportion, extremely hygienic and clean, and very comfortable table. Also, if you stay in a room facing the sea, it has the best view ever.
The breakfast was extraordinary! It was even better than an Ultra all hotel. The breakfast had a wide variety of selections and whatever we tried was super delicious.
On the upper floor of the hotel there is a cool bar with a perfect view. The pool and gym are amazingly spacious and clean.

The best part of our stay was the great service they had. Everyone was super kind, respectful and helpful. Each and everyone working in this hotel was smiley and they were all young and energetic. We appreciated the staff’s service from the receptionists, to the waiters in breakfast hall, to the security team and baggage porters.
We will definitely choose this hotel if we ever go back to Izmir.
