Small hotel for budget travelers. The hotel offers bright and cosy rooms with good equipment, children's entertainment, and in close proximity to the sea. Perfect for a family beach holiday.

Location: on the outskirts of Marmaris in Armutalan and 90 km from the airport g. Dalaman.

Consists of two 4-storey buildings.

The hotel has 150 rooms.

Total area: 3 000 m2.

Beach: public sandy-pebble beach only 150 m from the hotel (2-coastline). Between the hotel and the beach road runs. Umbrellas, sunbeds, mattresses – for a fee, towels – no. Free bus to the beach runs twice a day. The length of the beach - 300 m.

Me and my misses stayed at this hotel less than a week ago, Rooms ! did everything we needed nice, clean, nice balcony on the 4th floor Food ! WE personally loved it, like other people say u could eat even if fussy, burgers in afternoon spot on ! Staff ! Really polite saying hello some had a laugh with you , all staff worked hard cleaning literally all the time Jenna and dave would definitely return Thank for a good holiday

Unfortunately my experience was disappointing: The food quality was low, with no fresh food, bread or fruit. Even leftovers seemed to be re-served the next day. The room was dusty and unclean upon arrival, and despite multiple requests, housekeeping did not arrive promptly. There was no kettle in the room and when asked, we were told that all hotels have stopped supplying kettles in the room. Not sure if this is true or not. May have to do some research on this. I was also disappointed by the general lack of courtesy from the staff. When we tried to be polite, it seemed to result in increased disrespect. To the hotel itself: I hope you will take these concerns seriously to improve the experience for future guests. I know for a fact, we will not be returning. Thank you for reading.

My 2nd stay at this hotel due to it been nice & cheap, the staff are lovely & friendly, rooms are very clean with plenty of space, the only thing that lets it down is the really bad food ( which wasn’t a bother for us as we like to eat out ) will be back again next year

Had an amazing 8 nights here. Everyone seems to slate it but I think it was perfect. All inclusive drinks were nice. Food was tasty always had something for people to eat. Picky friend in my group always had a full plate. Can get repetitive but places to go to close by if you want a change of food for the day. Desserts were lovely! There’s a little shop in the hotel to go buy snacks from. Room was cleaned well when we got it cleaned. We didn’t choose to have it cleaned everyday but cleaner on floor always offered us fresh towels and toilet papers. All staff in hotel really friendly, no hassle from them at all. Hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the beach and close to plenty shops/restaurants. Pool area was cleaned every evening. I’ve been to Marmaris a few times now normally stay b&b in different hotels but would definitely stay in palmea again for a cheap all inclusive!

This is our last day here and after reading all the previous reviews, I find it very hard to understand what the issues are. Yes it is a budget hotel, yes the food is fairly bland and repetitive and the drinks are ok. I knew this before I got here and my wife and I still had a great time. If I wanted entertainment in the evening then I would have booked into another hotel but the food and drinks would have been the same and it would have added another £1000 to our holiday. We did eat out on a couple of occasions but it wasn’t a problem. Prices have escalated in the last few years but you can get a decent meal for a reasonable price in most restaurants. The issue mentioned about the wild boars roaming the hotel is nonsense. The boar have obviously come down from the mountains when they caught fire and because they discovered a new food source, they have stayed. They do not come into the hotels, they do wander around the streets in the evenings but are not aggressive at all. I have been coming to Marmaris for the last 15 years and to be honest the Palmea is a small friendly hotel that gives value for money. If you want fancy rooms, fancy food and drinks and good entertainment then choose another hotel that will cost you a lot more. We used to stay at the Liberty Lykia hotel on our 2nd holiday in the year, which is fantastic. Unfortunately now though the price is about £5000 for 2 people for 10 days so they have literally price themselves out of our budget. Overall I wouldn’t mind staying here again and I seriously wonder what people want for their money.

This was our second time staying at the Palmea, and honestly, for the price you pay, you really can’t complain. We chose this hotel because it’s budget-friendly, and once again it delivered good value for money. The staff were excellent throughout our stay. We arrived late at night when everything was closed, and the staff went out of their way to get some milk for my mum so she could have a brew—such a thoughtful touch. Our room was on the 4th floor, reception side. The lift was a bit frustrating at times as it wouldn’t operate unless the external door was fully closed. Unfortunately, the cleaners often left it open for convenience, which caused some delays—particularly inconvenient being on the top floor. The food was okay—better than our last visit, though still a bit repetitive. Drinks were decent too, with a few options, though the cocktails were mostly grenadine-based. The hotel was very clean. Our room was tidied daily, and towels and bedding were changed regularly. The air conditioning worked, but mainly reached one side of the room. Our room faced the sun all day, so it did get quite warm. Staff were all lovely—very polite, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t use the spa as we went out for a Turkish bath, so can’t comment on that, but the salon seemed busy and well-used. Guests were regularly going in for treatments and tattoos. Overall, considering how much we paid, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely return.

My first time in Turkey and staying at this hotel at first wasnt quite sure it was a good hotel food wasnt great to start,but the staff are freindly and really helpful especially jimmy he cant do enough for u he will make your holiday am coming back to this hotel because jimmy hospitality is spot on,see ya sooon

Got to the hotel rooms were quite basic, shower was broken once it was reported lady on reception had it fixed immediately although we had to have them back again to finally resolve the issue. Pool area was pleasant nice and relaxed except for the awful music they played on a loop all day. Food wasn't good at all this was an all inclusive holiday and we ended up going to restaurants quite a lot which kind of defeats the object. All inclusive for drinks stops at 1030 pm. Cleaning was the bare minimum, had to chase cleaning staff for toilet rolls. Only about 3 of the staff were helpful others were not bothered. One was particularly rude and unhelpful. I wouldn't choose this particular hotel again found it overpriced as a package deal for what you get.

You should be very careful when using the services of a tour operator or buying travel packages including accommodation at the four-star Palmea in Marmaris. You pay for and expect a standard room, and you find yourself in a hideaway on the attic floor - it's hard to walk without hitting your head on the cracks in the ceiling.
The hotel has two swimming pools and also it is very close to the sea but you have to dry your bathing suits and beach towels on plastic chairs - no other way. You have to move the plastic furniture every time to open and close the terrace door. You cannot fully open this door, the width of the balcony is insufficient for this. There is no place to arrange the clothes, except for two special ones, which may be hanging on a hanger in the wardrobe in the hallway. In it, apart from these two clothes, there is space only for shoes (on the ground) and in the superstructure, around the safe, you can possibly put something up there, out of sight. Your clothes must be in the suitcase during the entire stay.
Despite my tour operator's efforts to move me to a normal room, I've been living in this hideaway for the fourth day now. It seems this will be the worst 6-days accommodation in all my life.
And the attic "rooms" aren't even mentioned on the hotel's website, but they exist and people stay there.
