Seven Seas Hotel Blue - Ultra All Inclusive

This hotel is far from a 5-star standard—perhaps a generous 4-star when considering its facilities. I will detail both the positive and negative aspects of our experience, aiming to be as fair as possible.

We arrived at the reception around 4:00 PM, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. We received information about the resort, including what is available and where. As it was past lunchtime, the only open place for a snack was Passage Snack, where there were some fruits and a single person making burritos, resulting in quite a long queue.

We booked a garden view room, which turned out to overlook their technical area. When we addressed this issue at reception, the staff responded with "and what seems to be the problem?" and informed us that changing rooms would incur extra charges. The next day, after raising the issue again, we were offered another garden view room, which only faced a fence covering the parking lot. We opted for a pool view room and paid the additional fee.

The pool view room was decent; however, after showering, the bedroom flooded. We reported the problem, and it was resolved while we were at dinner.

The food is generally the same each morning and at lunch in the main restaurant, with different themes each night such as Chinese, Greek, and Mediterranean. While the food is fresh, it lacks variety. There is a dedicated children's restaurant. Although the food is mostly repetitive, it is fresh.

The beach is a mix of sand and pebbles. The entry into the water is very steep, with large rocks, making it unsuitable for beginners or young children.

The beach bar is deplorable, offering low-quality, warm drinks served in plastic cups. The children's pool bar is basic, using inferior quality ingredients on the principle of quantity over quality.

The pools are suitable for children but not sufficiently cleaned. Naturally, all sunbeds are reserved from as early as 5 AM, and if you don't claim one by 7 AM, you won't find an available spot.

The kitchen staff are commendable, working hard to ensure that the food is fresh. The wait staff are overworked and do not speak English, which complicates communication.

The Turkish à la carte restaurant offers a fixed menu that is 95% the same as the main restaurant. A tip: if you want a reservation at the Italian restaurant, you must make it at check-in; otherwise, you will not find a spot.

The rooms are fine, in an older style, but clean, and the housekeeping staff do an excellent job of ensuring all necessities are provided.

Overall, the hotel does not merit its 4.8 rating on Google.
