Therefore staying for 2-4 days is totally worth to explore this city. Less traffic jam. Less crowded shopping mall.
PS. Rosewood is linked to an excellent shopping mall that you could find anything you need. Coffee, bread etc.
To start off, the check-in process was quick and easy. I do not recall her name, but the lady helping with the check-in process was great. In fact, over the past 1.5 weeks I’ve been here, everyone I have come across in the reception have been very welcoming and pleasant.
The daily room services have been on par with what you would experience in many other hotels at the level of Rosewood. A few minor issues such as complimentary water being forgotten at times and the TV not working, but I would say these are minor points and can be offset with some of the other good services the hotel has to offer.
An awful experience I’ve had was during breakfast. As someone who does not tolerate dairy, I have requested for a serving of scrambled eggs without any addition of milk, cream, or butter, and have emphasised this point to the waiter a couple of times as I understand it can be forgotten (as various types of eggs were something you could order off the menu, I hope I wasn’t asking for something unreasonable). As I received the eggs, it appeared rather creamy, hence I asked if it has no milk, cream or butter added, and the response I received was that it was prepared plain with nothing other than a little bit of oil added. After going through half of the eggs, I didn’t feel well, and after notifying the waiter, I rushed back to the room. There were some other minor flaws to the service as the table was missing a folk and the water cup I was given was not replaced after being used by the previous user, but I believe these are just minor points that you can get around by communicating with the person waiting the table.
Overall, had I not experienced the breakfast, I believe the hotel deserves a solid 4.5 stars, and I hope the experience I had during breakfast was just a one-off.
Kids club keeps the children engaged throughout.
Food is fresh with a variety spread. Some of the meats were bit dry and tough but chef was accommodating to provide replacements.
Surabh was our waiter who was accommodating and helpful.
Only suggestion is that tables should be cleared more regularly rather than having to ask for it to be done. Especially as we were a large table.
