The main advantage of the hotel is a hydrotherapy pool, so the hotel is primarily recommended to fans of water procedures. The sea is calm, almost no waves. The view from the beach area on city buildings. When you check takes a Deposit.

Located: on the Gulf coast, in the centre of the capital, near the largest shopping center Abu Dhabi Mall, 40 km from the airport of Abu Dhabi.

Beach: own sandy, 50 m from the hotel (1st coastal line). The entrance to the sea sand. On the beach umbrellas, deck chairs, towels: free of charge. The beach is 180 m. the pool towels, umbrellas, deckchairs: free of charge.

Great hotel, great service. At every step, someone from the staff is waiting to help solve any problem or whim of the customer. The rooms are super clean, cleaned regularly. The food is delicious. The pool service and beach service are at the highest level. For a lazy vacationer, they will spread out a deckchair and a towel. All the bartenders know what the customer will want before placing an order :-) Full professionalism. P.S. warm greetings and praise for our private concierge :-)

Just got back from here, had an amazing week.
All the staff are fantastic. It was my birthday whilst here and came back to a Happy birthday cake in our room. very unexpected and very appreciated. Food is good. Pool was never over crowded and the pool bar staff were wonderful. Lovely private beach with plenty of 4 posters day beds and sun loungers. Gym was well equipped. There's a lovely lady who sings live aswell. Please book in to Captains aswell. Food was really good.

I've been staying here for years. My favourite hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The staff are impeccable, always outstanding service and genuine warmth.
Other more modern hotels could learn a lot from this place.

Staying all inclusive, in general all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Pool area with sunbeds on surrounding grass lawned areas and pool bar.
The sandy beach area is not like your typical sea resort as it is man made but we found it be ok, just not with a great view. Again sunbeds are provided and if your into swimming lengths I estimated a 100 mtr clear run.
The gym was fully equipped and spacious and not to busy.

Below is a longer review of the hotel. This was our second time here.
Pros:
1.Very friendly hotel room service.
2.Very good food.
3.Large double room for 4 people.
4.Nice people in the restaurant, most people.
5.Nice lobby of the hotel.
6.Location of the city center.
7.Pool and sea bay.
Minuses:
1.Doors between rooms in the hotel causing very poor soundproofing.
2. Leaky doors and windows- noise from outside, in addition, once downstairs cutting wood from the morning.
3. Room for 4 people, bed for max 3 people, sofa bed with thin and dirty mattress - we had to additionally ask for a set of sheets for the fourth person.
4. At check-in no information about must bracelets for all inc, resulting in the fact that the first day we had to pay add.
If we had received bracelets we would not have paid for additional drinks.
5. My impression, not quite equal treatment. Example: our children with our own water wheels could not enter the pool. The next day another family was swimming with their own water wheels in the pool...
6. Occupying both sunbeds and canopies at the same time, resulting in a lack of space to sit for others, ineffective in this regard service.

Excellent hotel in a central location. My family and I stayed here during August 2024. Rooms were really nice and cleaned daily. The location is super central, less than 3 mins walk from Abu Dhabi Mall. The staff were really pleasant and the breakfast was top notch. Definitely recommend and visit again

There are a lot of nice things to say about Le Meridien Abu Dhabi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The lobby and breakfast area are clean and attractive. But you can feel the hotel is old and needs some love and investment in the building and facilities to regain its former glory.

I recently stayed at Le Meridien Abudhabi and had a wonderful experience.

The executive lounge was a pleasant space, kept clean and stocked with a good selection of snacks.
The pool and beach areas were also very clean and inviting.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

We had booked for a weekend stay.
1. Hotel ambience & Infrastructure: An iconic landmark of the town. An old style Building. Interiors are okay , not that great. Nice pool & beach access which makes up for the letdown of the ambience.
2. Room Quality: Old style , Needs renovation.
3. Room Service: Good response from all staff
Overall : Max Spend can be around :AED 300 -350 / Night / Room. If anything beyond , you got way better new hotels around the city. :)

This hotel was really charming. It has multiple restaurant options, swim up bar at the pool, beach, and walkable to a mall and downtown Abu Dhabi. It was a nice change to stay in a hotel with a bit of soul.
It has a very American old school bar & saloon near the front entrance - which was kind of cute and reminded us of home.
The hotel is clean with a very intimate feeling. The rooms were quite small for an older hotel, but it was fine - and clean.
The absolute only thing we were disappointed in, is the hotel seems to market their football pitch, which is the reason we booked it as we were taking our kids to the Saudi Super Cup. During the day, we walked over to the pitch and it was locked. For some reason the front desk told us where it was but failed to mention it was locked. We walked back, asked how to access and we were told it’s actually a FIFA prepped pitch and available only for groups. The Google page literally has a photo of the pitch with a Le Meridian ball on it. Unless it’s accessible to guests, they should remove the for marketing.
However, we’d definitely stay here again as it’s a nice change of pace and scenery from Dubai. We quite liked the mid-Century charm and learning about the history of the hotel.
