Maaeen Hotel in Dubai

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in the UAE. All these so called 5-star reviews are completely fake.

I booked this hotel through Agoda for 3 nights and arrived with my sister, who has a medical condition. The first issue was parking there is no proper parking at all. I had to drop them at the hotel and then drive almost 1.5 km just to find a place to park the car.

As soon as we entered the hotel, it looked nothing like the photos online. The place was dirty and poorly maintained. During check-in, I clearly informed the staff that I had a patient with me and asked if the room had been properly cleaned. The staff assured me that all rooms were clean, which was absolutely not true.

When we entered the room, it was disgusting. The bedsheets were visibly dirty, the room had a strange smell, the bathroom was not clean at all, and there was barely any water coming from the tap. It was completely unacceptable, especially considering the circumstances.

We had to leave the property immediately because it was impossible to stay there. I requested a refund through Agoda, and they only agreed to refund one day, which is extremely unfair given the condition of the hotel.

The worst hotel ever! I don’t know how they got 4.3 stars. Inside it very dirty so as the outside! No parking! No easy access! Terrible customer service! Rooms were so dirty and no water! I booked for 3nights and didn’t stay even for an hour! Never recommend this place 🤢 be aware

I haven’t been to such a disappointing hotel where my I don’t feel welcomed or respected. If I were able to give 0 starts I would. The rooms smelt very disturbing and it hindered with my sleep. The towels that were supposed to be white were brown and had a stench to it. The room doesn’t have any water. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly. They called in the middle of the night at about 12am asking if I wanted anything but I was asleep, they shouldn’t have called that late. They even called and woke me up the day after at 6am asking for my passport because THEY made a mistake on registering me in the system. The television and the lock for the balcony wasn’t working at all, I asked an employee to help fix the balcony door and they said they’ll fix it the next day which they didn’t even end up doing. If anyone wants to have a good time in Dubai, I suggest you DEFINITELY NOT book with maaeen. They have no respect for your boundaries and don’t accommodate your needs.
