Raha Grand Hotel in Dubai

They didn’t clean the room until 8 days into our stay. And they charged us for water. And they kept asking for my identification for the first 3 days since I checked in. This hotel was absolutely horrible. When we arrived in the room, the room supplied 1 pair of hotel slippers for a 2 person room. We found 1 slipper underneath one of the beds, which we hadn’t even used along with a used tissues when this hotel is new.
The staff is super unprofessional, guests have to give identification (ID or passport) and they keep it, they don’t take a copy or the number. And they won’t give it back until you leave. One of my friends came and they took their ID and they used their ID to scratch their nose in front of my friend and I. And when they came again after 10pm, they automatically assumed they were staying the night and asked them to pay 100DHS.

The photos do not convey the excessive flexibility of the bed, the stench, the noise and the disgusting attitude towards those who paid for favor and received nothing.

The bed is the cheapest, sags like a hammock or an air mattress, and you lie like a "U", deep down, legs and head up, back arched. Specific pillows. Noise, exhaust gases. We didn't sleep all night, in the morning my spine ached, the next day of vacation was gone. The hotel took the money for 4 nights and refused to return it when we checked out after the first night due to low quality

The mattress is cheap and soft, it flexes like a hammock and you lie like a U, sinking deep down, legs and head on top, your back is curved. Pillows made of concrete. The hum of air conditioners, exhaust gases from the road. Fire light from the ceiling right in the face. We did not sleep all night, in the morning my spine ached, the next day of vacation was lost.
We paid a non-refundable rate for 4 nights in advance, after the 1st night we were shown other rooms with the same beds where we couldn’t sleep. The manager said if we want to check out earlier then "no problem". But at the reception we were refused even partial compensation for the inconvenience and given the fact that we leave 3 days earlier having paid everything in advance. "If you don't like our hotel, you can move out, but we won't refund your money."
As a result, we paid for 4 nights, but lived 1 night and moved out without money for 3 unspent nights. The hotel kept all the money for itself, and I guess they sold our room again. The hotel did not respond to a complaint from booking about the unsuitability of the room for life. Silent, so as not to ask questions.
They don't care about your health, the main thing is to get your money. You can only sit on a chair there, but not sleep. The hotel is not fulfilling its obligations. This is a room, but not a hotel, but when you feel it, your money will already be at the hotel irrevocably.
Also: the hotel was not cleaned after renovation, the staff is unconscious, there is no breakfast, it is located in the ghetto. When checking in for two, they gave a room with one narrow single bed. Then, a room with construction debris - papers on the floor, in the bathroom, in the sink, not flushed toilet , damp smelling sealant on the floor. On the 3rd attempt, they settled in our ill-fated room.
We were seduced by new photos of the hotel and regretted it. The photos do not convey the excessive flexibility of the bed, the stench, the noise and the consumer attitude towards those who paid for the service and received nothing. The most disgusting hotel in my life!
Do not populate the hotel if it is not ready for living after renovation!
