Hyatt Regency Sofia

Amazing 3 night stay. Radi was so helpful, friendly and provided great suggestions of where to eat and what’s unique to shop. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to city center, 5 min walk to the famous cathedral. Rooms a very spacious with tons of storage and very nice shower. Comfy bed and couch to relax. We had club access, which offers delicious breakfast and happy hour appetizers in a quiet pretty setting.

Exceptional service, comfort and cleanliness with all the right amenities. I stayed at the Hyatt during August of 2024 as part of a delegation to a special convention. Despite being part of a large group, I received personalized attention from the excellent staff and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Would highly recommend!

One of the better hotel options in Sofia. The rooms are quite basic but the beds are comfortable and it's quiet. There was no mini bar, just a bare fridge which was odd, but they did have a coffee machine.
Good restaurant, great buffet breakfast, amazing spa and very decent, well equipped gym. The aesthetic and vibe of the place overall is more business than pleasure but the amenities make it a worthwhile stay. I visited the rooftop bar a lot, and the food and cocktails were both very good. Friendly staff are happy to help arrange tours.

The hotel exceeded above and beyond my expectations. The staff was extremely polite. My room/suite was clean and spotless. I had a dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. The waitress was very nice. The food was prepared to perfection. Sophisticated high-end modern interior and design in the hotel.

This is one of my faforite properties anywhere within the Hyatt system. The staff are outstanding. The club level rooms are perfect for my needs and I actually prefer them over the suites. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with a solid happy hour. There is an excellent spa with both sauna and steam rooms as well as a pool area that has high pressure jets.
Location is a short and delightful stroll to the city centre.

Great location, walking distance to main site seeings such church as Russia, Alexander church, cafes and restaurants. The hotel has a good spa facility (steam room, sauna, salt sauna, and pool) and gym. The restaurant is also very nice!

I've stayed in hotels in 50+ countries but this one was truly memorable due to the people. The hotel itself is amazing of course, but the staff is what makes it truly memorable.

We were unexpectedly stranded in Sofia and booked last minute, were upgraded to a suite and provided with a baby cot as well.

Everyone accommodated us and was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful and nice. Mariela at the front desk and all the ladies at the Revolutionary are what makes this hotel unforgettable. We will be returning every year!

Excellent location and facilities. Staff is friendly and quickly helped us with our needs. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Compared to other options in Sofia, this hotel provided great value as the price of our stay was attractively lower than anticipated, especially compared to its excellent quality. We liked the shower in our room, perfect control of water temp and pressure. Staff quickly arranged a day trip to Skopje for us with an excellent driver. Our only issue with our stay was when after 3 nights we decided to watch some TV, the TV did not work. Maintenance was quickly dispatched and arrived with helpful interpreter, but after quick investigation they could not get the TV working, thus offered a new room (no need), then said they’d try next day and they did get it working the next day while we were out. The TV was huge and worked well with great channel selections. Anyways the hotel dealt with the matter very professionally, said and DID all the right service corrections, even leaving a treat with a kind note of (unnecessary but appreciated) apology. We mentioned all along we didn’t really care about the TV but figured some later guest may want it working, hotel got that and made their work completely unobtrusive. So giving them high marks for the minor issue resolved well. Suggestion: enjoyed the very nice indoor pool and spa, but even a well traveled person may not know how one uses a salt room etc, and I could not locate any instructions at least not in my language. Had a good laugh pushing buttons in the salt room and still not figuring out what nice thing was gonna happen, would I be salted like a margarita or a pretzel or ? Was too shy and too amused to ask for help. So maybe have leave a salt resistant copy of “Salt rooms for dummies” near said room and other such mysterious treatments. Anyways, highly recommend this hotel!

As usual excellent all round. Stayed here for one night and was warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival. Had an excellent quiet room at the back of the hotel. Bedding was comfortable, large TV, lovely bathroom facilities. Breakfast was, as usual, in true Hyatt style an excellent experience with a wide range of foods to choose. Would happily stay again.

Hotel restaurant and lounge area (lounge needs status or with specific rooms) were very nicely done - luxurious feel but also a bit quirky - Lego vehicles and titanic in the lounge and the photos of people and chandeliers in the restaurant are good examples. Food choice was good with an egg chef for breakfast and a decent selection for dinner.

Rooms were good. We stayed in a suite with connecting room. Beds very comfortable and the tech all worked. Good attention to detail so it felt fresh.

Stand out was the pool, hydro and steam/salt rooms. A number of saunas that took you to different temperatures but also a reasonable size hydro pool with multiple jets and bubbles. Not great for swimming laps but amazing for unwinding and chilling.

Location wise - pretty central, easy to walk or use taxi/Uber to get around.
