Some cons i should mentioned for management to look out for.
Shower gel , handsoap , shampoo they are all the same . Which was really weird.
No drinking water provided or filter inside the hotel premises so you either buy water from outside or drink tap water inside . I tried to drink tap water and it upset my stomach because the water taste funny .
Definitely reserve a parking spot at the hotel, it's so convenient and safe. The staff are absolutely amazing. Noah at the front desk is great. The gentleman cleaning the parking area was great. The cleaning lady was so pleasant and helpful. I felt like family. The nearby restaurants and attractions couldn't be better. Literally 50 meters from check point Charlies. If you like McDonald's or KFC, they are also 50 meters away.
I'll definitely be staying at this hotel next time I'm in Berlin.
Nice and comfortable room with air conditioning. Super quiet and relaxing.
Super central location only a few steps from the underground which takes you everywhere in just a few minutes.
We will definitely come back to this Hotel!
Good food in Johnny's Bar (Caribbean) and a Spanish restaurant nearby, as well as an Ir8sh pub.
Good fast food also at Charlie's Beach with various stalls selling a variety of food from German sausages to fish and Georgian and Turkish.
Towels were nice, the hairdryer as well.
The best characteristic is the location. Located close to Checkpoint charlie, easy to get there from subway, easy to walk around, many cafes and stores for basic stuff for a tourist. Definitely would recommend.
Cons/ could be better:
-no ammenities like tea, coffee, shampoo, etc. Only shower gel/soap
-no luggage storage before or after check in. There are alternatives around (i e bounce) but it would be nice to have that option.
