Title: Decent Stay with Some Disappointing Issues
Review:
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Grand Hotel Esplanade in Berlin. While the hotel's location was good and the overall experience was decent, there were a few issues that detracted from my stay.
Firstly, I noticed a bug on the second bed in my double room. While I wasn't able to confirm whether it was a bed bug, it was concerning and made me feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the room.
Secondly, on the second day of my stay, I found a used chewing gum stuck to one of the sugar/creamer packets that had been refreshed by the hotel staff. This was quite disgusting and unacceptable, especially for a hotel of this caliber.
Thirdly, the front desk staff failed to inform me about the breakfast that was included in my reservation. I only found out about it by chance, which was disappointing as I might have missed out on this benefit otherwise.
Finally, the hotel staff did not refill the moisturizer in my room after the second day of my 5-day stay. While this may seem like a minor issue, it was indicative of a lack of attention to detail and guest needs.
Despite these issues, the hotel's location was convenient and the overall experience was decent. However, the aforementioned issues, particularly the bug and the used chewing gum, were quite concerning and detracted from my stay. I hope the hotel management will address these issues to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests.

I just want to share that I had a bad experience with the hotel, it was my own negligence but want to warn anyone staying at the hotel to be VERY careful. I had late check out for the day being a Platinum Elite member and emptied my safe thinking that no one would enter the room as I placed a DND sign outside the door. I had cash stolen from it as I know how much cash I had inside since it was locked inside the safe during my stay. I believe it is the hotel housekeeping staff.as they were the only staff on the floor when I went out. Make sure you lock your valuables if you stay at this hotel.

Horrible. I can’t believe I saw waste in the toilet on a new room.
The location was poor. You will need 13 minutes to the nearest train station.
There are a lot better hotels in Berlin with same prices.

I booked a king bed room but the staff gave me a twin bedroom instead… the front desk eventually changed my room to the room type I booked, but I mean I’ve never experienced this in my whole life. It was like he didn’t even check which room I booked.

The room is bit outdated. TV is tiny and old, which was definitely not what I expected. I regret I chose Sheraton over Doubletree when I was planning for this trip. A lot of things are broken in my bathroom. Just can’t be bothered to ask them again to change my room.

Well, this is a different story, the staff only seems polite and understanding. We can start with the fact that we were charged a deposit twice. The first time, by “mistake,” they promised that the money would be returned and asked to pay again for the “correct deposit.” in the end, out of two hundred euros at check out, we only received one hundred. To our simple question, when will that very first money come, the staff responded like this: “How will you prove that this is true and that it was me?” We didn't even demand their return now. They simply asked if we would get back what we paid by mistake. They kicked us out of the hotel and brought my wife to tears. I won't say that this is a pleasant experience. We have all the account statements and we will deal with this at a more serious level. Now this looks like a scheme to deceive guests. One employee allegedly made a mistake, the second apologizes for it and convinces you that everything will be fine, and then they pretend that they don’t know anything. Please guys be careful with this hotel. If you don't want to be deceived and spat in your face, think three times before going to this hotel
