The highlight is the Sky Lounge and the wellness area with an indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center on the top floor perfect for relaxing after a day of meetings or sightseeing. Breakfast is generous, with a wide variety of international and local options. Service is generally professional and efficient.
The room had a very unpleasant smell , and it could use some improvements + higher cleaning standards. Desk chair was ripped , shower was dirty and ceiling had pieces breaking from it. I do not recommend it for the price
Only positive was the good breakfast and parking is comfortable but expensive (30€+ for 25 hours)
During my most recent stay, I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The service provided by the staff was inattentive and, at times, unfriendly — a stark contrast to the warm and professional treatment I had come to expect over the years. It felt as though customer care had taken a backseat.
Additionally, the cleanliness of the rooms left much to be desired. Musty smell and a poorly cleaned bathroom made for an uncomfortable stay. This is simply unacceptable, especially from a hotel brand that claims high standards.
The breakfast, once a highlight of my visits, has noticeably declined in quality. The selection was limited, several items were not replenished in time, and the staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized.
It’s truly disappointing to see such a decline in what was once a reliable and pleasant hotel. Regrettably, this was my last stay here.
This year, we really appreciated the presence of reception staff at check-in, unlike last year when everything was done via self check-in. Bringing back that human touch is a great improvement. A special mention to the Afghan receptionist (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) — he was genuinely kind and welcoming.
The hotel is well located. However, the pool area could use some refreshing: the windows need cleaning and the loungers could be better arranged.
I also paid extra for a panoramic view, but from room 1229, the view was underwhelming. Strangely, my friend who stayed two floors above me with a regular room had a better view than I did.
It’s also a shame that the minibar was completely empty.
The TV in my room wasn’t working, but it didn’t bother me too much.
Breakfast was good, but we missed the smoked salmon or any other meat-free alternatives that were available last year.
One last point — I was quite shocked by the condition of the duvet in my room.
Overall, a solid stay with some room for improvement.
I made this mistake last month (09/2024) and paid the price...
I will start by saying the issues were not directly related to the stay itself even though there was an issue with the power supply at that time which meant breakfast and other facilities were limited, as I understand that unexpected problems can occur.
What I don't understand is the following:
1. Being promised an invoice receipt for my stay via email but never actually sending it.
2. Realizing it was never sent as I preparing my monthly expenses and attempting to call the hotel and never getting through even after repeated attempts for over an hour.
3. Finally getting through to the option for new reservations (of course that one is answered promptly) but being told they cannot assist
4. Sending an email hoping to have better luck and eventually getting a response that the receipt was going to be sent to my email address.
5. Realizing the promised invoice never arrived by the next day so I ended up in the same cycle of calling and emailing repeatedly with no response...we're talking hours from my time wasted.
6. Finally getting the invoice sent accompanied by a curt and unapologetic email "if you're not getting the invoice please check your spam"
This dreadful level of customer experience is completely unacceptable in 2024...I cannot even imagine needing to deal with this hotel on a more serious or urgent topic.
I will be avoiding Radisson Blu hotels in the future for Business travel and will be advocating the same with my colleagues.
