Reviews
First it was super hot and humid inside the room, but out in the hallway it was quite comfortable. So we made sure to turn on the ac but the problem is they turn off the ac to the whole building if it’s less than 20° outside. So then you’re left to one small window crack or opening the whole balcony door to drop the temperature all while worrying about if someone will easily jump over into your balcony so they can step into your room while you’re asleep.
Next problem is if you end up having no signal inside the hotel make sure your room is on a floor that doesn’t have a lot of guests staying on it cause when you go downstairs to tell them you’re having problems connecting they just blame it on to many people are trying to connect to the wifi. Which kind of sucks cause if you’re having a relaxing Tuesday night, you can’t even use the nice feature of tv cast from your phone because the wifi doesn’t work …..
And while the mattress is a little stiff the pillows are great and the rooms look super luxurious. Although it’s a weird there’s no way to contact the front desk from your room like with a phone. So hope that your cell phone has signal without the wifi.
The rooms are spacious and well equipped, except for the pillows which quite uncomfortable. The doors make a lot of noise when they shut, which can be unpleasant.
I had a great view from the 23rd floor though.
Cleaning staff are rude
Reception staff are not helpful except the lady who checked us in.
The only good thing about this hotel is the view if you want to stay on the top floor.
I am not coming back to this hotel.
Beds are ok, but the bathroom feels outdated and not the cleanest anymore. Carpet also feels dirty with various stains in the rooms.
Also on the outside you can see the building is getting old
Staff is friendly, breakfast is good with many options and the view from the 24th floor was good, but after all it's the room you pay for.
Depending on what you pay for it might be a recommendation. Curious to see after the renovations.
Class action lawsuit waiting to happen. The owners of the hotel decided it would be a good idea to let people rent out the top floor for parties, with blasting bass noises that can apparently be heard from the 4th floor, as the reception said they are receiving complaints from as low as there. Some quick maths based on number of floors, rooms, and average occupancy rates indicates this is disturbing around 600-800 paying guests all at the same time. And the ridiculous thing is that management knows this happens and still allows it. They are literally stealing customer's money by providing them with rooms they know aren't fit to sleep in. And they think a pair of ear buds and a breakfast coupon I have no use for (because I've pre-paid already) is enough to make up for it... They are having a laugh.
Apart from this the place is very nice, nice building, lovely staff, pretty good restaurant food. This was my first time at a Leonardo and they could have had a customer for life, but the sheer disgust I have at their greediness to make a quick buck over at the cost of hundreds of guests.... I'm never coming back here again.
Thanks and I would surely visit you in future.
