Excellent hotel, lovely clean spacious room. Rooms are well equipped and showers are lovely. Only one complaint which was the hotel air conditioning was turned off. When we questioned this, we were told the ambient outside air temperature was 22 degrees, so air con was not required? Otherwise a pleasant stay and would certainly return.

The view in the rooms is beautiful. The area isn’t safe , rooms are ok , parking lots is in a different building and they say you don’t get a safe parking for you car only for employees but we tell you it’s a safe parking, if it safe why would you have a safe box for employees car there ? And why the whole place filled with “ don’t leave valuable items in the car “ ?

I will start with the points that left me disappointed
The worst experience I had was at dinner, I ordered two simple main courses for take away in the room. I was then waiting in the breakfast area for my food, and I filled a little bowl with some cereals for taking it up to my room as a dessert. I paid for the dinner and for the breakfast so I thought grabbing some leftovers is no big deal. Suddenly some kitchen worker (I will not name him here) came to me and literally shouted in my face what I am doing here. And what I was thinking, standing there in the breakfast area and taking cereal. I nicely told him that I am waiting for my dinner and that I am a paying guest so I just wanted a snack for my dinner. He then continued to shout at me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I mean you can not treat any guest in this way at all. The restaurant personal in the evening should be trained for customer contact. I felt very threatened by him, after he was gone he came back and demanded why I was still standing there, as I was still waiting for my dinner, which by the way took more than 30 minutes to get done. I mean you can inform your guest that he might go back to his room and can come back when it’s done or phone the room.
I also have nothing good to say about the sauna and spa. The fitness center was big and a lot of equipment there so good gym, the sauna unfortunately was not turned on when I was there. So the steam sauna and the normal sauna where off and the turn on switch didn’t work. Also the atmosphere down there was not really relaxing. Also the hotel does not provide you with a bathrobe nor slippers in the room so you go down fully dressed and have to dress up again. I asked at the reception where I was given slippers which was nice but no bathrobe. Apparently there are bathrobes available for free but at pre-order? That makes no sense at all. How am I supposed to pre order a bathrobe, when I don’t even know that I have to. So spa experience was disappointing.
Now to get good stuff, the rooms are recently renovated and look very nice. Large rooms with accessible Balconies, very nice designed, lots of small details in the rooms, smart tv and so on. So very nice rooms! Also the breakfast was very good, huge selection and special stuff, like pancake machine, honey dispenser and in general a big variety of things. But it was a bit crowded at the time I was there.
I also overheard that when the renovations are finished the price of the rooms will almost triple. That shocked me as the hotel in the current state is more a 3-Star hotel! Also the missing bathrobe, the unusable spa and the terrible attitude by some service workers are not 4-Star worthy.

Great Stay with Amazing Views!
I had a good time at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Frankfurt. The room was clean, comfortable, and had an incredible view of the city skyline. The staff was friendly and always helpful, making the stay even better.
The only small downside was that the parking area wasn’t very spacious, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
Highly recommend this hotel for a short stay in Frankfurt — would definitely come back!

The hotel itself is great, spacious suite, breathtaking views from the upper floors, but I want to highlight the excellent staff. The receptionists, restaurant and bar staff were super friendly and helpful all the time. In the lounge bar, I had the pleasure of being served consecutive times by the extremely kind, warm, polite and attentive Jolanta. And the food was divine, main courses and desserts memorable. I highly recommend their apple strudel; it took me to heaven!

The staff were friendly, and the hotel looked clean and comfortable. However, when we checked in at midnight and turned on the AC, we woke up to the sound of dripping water. It turned out there was water discharge from the ceiling in the middle of the room. We informed the reception, but their response was, "It's okay, you will check out today, put those towels under that" and they did nothing. And woke up again as the drip turned like river and we couldnt sleep at all. As a result, we had to leave before 9 am instead of noon.

We had a one night stay here and the room was better than it’s counterparts. Nice and spacious rooms with delicious breakfast options…

Great room, spacious, modern and clean. Breakfast is excellent, lot's of choices, and tasty. Fruit is great. However, service at the reception was painfully slow. Overall good impression, and would recommend.

We stayed at this hotel for the euro 2024 and we were disappointed with few aspects. The room wasn't cleaned on daily basis as we had to ask reception every day to send cleaners to the room, service in general was poor they didn't have enough workers and hotel was very busy. Shower was all clogged up so water was standing still when we had shower. The bar had only one or perhaps two at most at the bar serving more than 100 people. Location wasn't bad but the hotel needs tlc and renovation is a must.

I would like to blame the issues on the hotel renovations, but there were quite a few problems with the room/booking.
First it was super hot and humid inside the room, but out in the hallway it was quite comfortable. So we made sure to turn on the ac but the problem is they turn off the ac to the whole building if it’s less than 20° outside. So then you’re left to one small window crack or opening the whole balcony door to drop the temperature all while worrying about if someone will easily jump over into your balcony so they can step into your room while you’re asleep.
Next problem is if you end up having no signal inside the hotel make sure your room is on a floor that doesn’t have a lot of guests staying on it cause when you go downstairs to tell them you’re having problems connecting they just blame it on to many people are trying to connect to the wifi. Which kind of sucks cause if you’re having a relaxing Tuesday night, you can’t even use the nice feature of tv cast from your phone because the wifi doesn’t work …..
And while the mattress is a little stiff the pillows are great and the rooms look super luxurious. Although it’s a weird there’s no way to contact the front desk from your room like with a phone. So hope that your cell phone has signal without the wifi.
