Fried eggs not available?? Pillows in room are too soft for us, I suggest an option of firmer pillows is offered Beds were two singles pushed together, which tended to drift apart! Still no instructions for coffee machine (also commented on last visit) All in all a very pleasant stay and will no doubt book again if visiting Hamburg

Location as a place to meet up for business or as a basis for seeing the city could not be better in Hamburg. (Private parking and EV chargers make visiting easy) Staff are very professional and attentive

(Rituals as the hotel soap brand when I was there). Bar had a good range of drinks and good service with a nice outdoor area. Breakfast and dinner were both very good and the business lunch was excellent value

I booked the Madison because of the great reviews and compared to other top hotels the room rate was reasonable. It’s easy to reach via u/s-Bahn. A lot of attractions are in walking distance

The hotel is super clean, my room was big and bright with a view of the Michel. So nothing to complain, would come back. And if u like tea (like me) housekeeping will give you lots of tea

The hotel is very much like many other “standard type” hotels, but everything was just better than we were used to. Large quiet rooms, excellent beds and bathroom and good service

Perfect for early flight departure! You can walk to the airport, or they have scheduled transport all 30 min. the rooms are very nice and we also used the small swimming pool (indoor)

Beautifully renovated historical building 10 min. easy walk from the Hamburg airport arrival/departure halls. Was quiet, clean and comfortable. A shopping mall with restaurants, cafes, supermarket and shops is 10 min

Super friendly staff, the people working there are awesome from the reception to the restaurant. The breakfast is really nice and the hotel is super quiet despite being 10 min walk from the airport.

The first room was good overlooking the woods but the 2nd room had a few old amenities and not a great view. Staff was nice but cleaning staff kept on knocking if you stay in the room during day.

Hotel is located within 5 mins walking distance from the nearest train station and there’s free airport shuttle. Convenient for an early morning flight. Rooms are big too.

then there is the breakfast, perfect! u can even order pizza to ur room, done at the hotel. definitively nice place to stay before u leave for airport

Good service and excellent staff. Good location close to the Metro network. The noise on a Saturday night from people & parties at street level may bother some people, but it was not a problem for me

Friendly staff, except for the woman in charge of breakfast. The rooms were modern, nice, and clean. Breakfast was okay, but for vegans, there's only jam and bread/rolls/toast and various fruits

Upon arrival on Friday, we were given earplugs to block out the loud music from the disco below the hotel. It got really loud from midnight until 6:45 a

Unexpected location but lots of mixed cultural experiences. (Not a family friendly location but we had no kids with us!) Staff was friendly

We had been warned and were still able to sleep relatively well on the second floor

The spa all in all was excellent. However, we then went back to our room to order room service. I ordered by phone (2 burgers and fries (no onions) and drinks and desserts. All in all the cost was around 140€

Most hotels have offered upgrades to even bigger rooms if available, I have yet to encounter this type of upgrade where you would pay for the complimentary upgrade even if the next category was unavailable

We them carried our bags ourselves to the room, as the young man showed us the way. We then went to the spa, which was one of the highlights of the stay. The pool was large and very unique and beatiful

The Junior Suite's have astonishing interior and are spacious, we even had partial lake view. The bed was extremely comfortable and the desk set up was perfect for work as well

We've had a family dinner as well as stayed the night here. The staff is extremely welcoming and professional and accommodated any wishes we've had

Our booking included an upgrade if available, but he told us the next room category was fully booked, so we could upgrade to the second next category, but would need to pay 280€ per night

The staff is always great and friendly, oftentimes you get a rougher service when you arrive with the family…not here! The staff was incredibly friendly, brought up some candy for the kids while asking if it’s ok before

Great central location, very nice rooms, extremely friendly service at reception and in the restaurant, breakfast buffet with everything that goes with it, great view from the restaurant over the Outer Alster, recommended roof-top bar, beautiful spa area with great pool, top hotel

I am a Platinum member of Bonvoy and have traveled quite a lot. Short summary - loved the experience :-) The restaurant was amazing for dinner and breakfast. The staff in the hotel was always helpful and polite

The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was truly good and varied, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and accommodating reception. All in all, a smooth and pleasant stay – highly recommended

It is my 1st time to visit Hamburg on 22nd to 24th,2025. The first 2 nights I stay here ! The hygiene of the room is excellent! The room setting is acceptable! The bed is comfortable

Our highlight is always the breakfast with the amazing view and a great choice of high quality fresh food, the staff up there is even more amazing then the hotel staff

The only drawback I have heard of, was from people who were outside saying that the noise from the highway kept them up (but they did seem like people who liked to complain) I stayed in the room at the back, 318, and the noise was not a problem even with the windows open in the evening

From 17:00 to 21:00 diner is served in a buffet style and the food like like home cooked meals, it's genuinely delicious. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious

It's got parking too, bit for normal cars as well as E-vehicles. There's also a self serve kios with snacks etc which also works on the honour system

It's very convenient for where I need to work, so I can't compare it to people who visit for holidays

Breakfast is delicious and serious worth it for 18€ (review posted on 2025) Nice bar area with a big screen to watch sports, indoor chill area as well as a nice outside area for the smokers and people who prefer sitting outside

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful and hassle-free stay

Room decor is pretty dated and the towels very very thin

The hotel is very close to the harbor, which is quite good in the local area. The free underground parking is great, and the breakfast is also very rich. I will choose this hotel again on my next business trip.

It is not in the city center and not close to the metro, but there is an express bus number X3 and another one is just 3 that can take you right to the center in 15 to 20 minutes. The hotel is great, breakfast is great

The staff was so nice and helpful. The hotel and the room are so clean. The pillows were too soft but we found another one in the drawer. We stayed only two nights but there was nothing we could complain about

The room is medium-sized, enough for one person. The hotel is in a very good location, close to Munich's famous attractions St. Peter's Church, the National Opera House, luxury shops and shopping malls

Very nice location, close to many amazing restaurants. Hotel is very well done, service absolutely top. Weekends breakfast until 12:00, which makes going out at night and still having breakfast in the morning possible.

We loved staying at this hotel. The service is great and everyone was accommodating. It is also close to two different rail stations making it easy to travel to downtown. We will definitely be coming back!

The hotel room was nice and cozy, even directly in the front of the highway there was no such discomfort noises. everything in the room was tip top, from the bed to the toilet was perfect

This was my second time at this hotel. The first time I already loved it. It is very well connected to main places in the city as well as located in a great area of Hamburg

In my 2 stays she really made me feel home. The rooms are really nice too. They provided me with a room before the stipulated check in time (3pm) as well with an upgrade

The waiters were attentive at all times to the needs of the guests and replenished the meals as they ran out. Special mention to the manager, Fenja Luebke, she was very attentive at all times

The staffs were friendly and the service was great. I think they upgraded my room without additional charge, which was great. The breakfast had a lot of variety and were delicious

Best hotel breakfast ever. Rooms are spacious and clean. The view is probably nice but it's the time of the year where Hamburg is in a layer of permanent fog so I wouldn't know.

Although we arrived late at night, we were able to check in without any problems. We were also impressed with the service at the bar. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel has a SPA area which I enjoyed alone as it was not crowded at the time I went. It also has a small but cozy gym

The bedding was comfortable and we slept well. We would have preferred a smart TV with internet access and Netflix

As Elite Members we were treated very well and received an upgrade to a beautiful suite. Complementary Upgrade is of course based on availability, but in this case we were lucky

While the rooms we had were very nice, and extremely spacious, but make sure you have the outward facing ones, as the view to the inside isn't great. I attended a concert, purchased a vinyl and forget it in the room

They were super kind and sent it to me via post, packaged extremely well and I received it without any damage

Driver was friendly at 06:30 for the short trip to the terminal. Will stay there again when we have an early flight out of HAM

Loved the location close to ZOB and the easiest check in and access - the room was a great price compared to other destinations

They also have these lighting that you can change depending on your favourite colour, it is fun and something extra. I checked in March 11, and the receptionist on that day in the afternoon was so nice

The hotel is centrally located, you can get everywhere on foot. Hotel room looked into the inner courtyard, was now not completely quiet, due to the apartments opposite. Comfortable and cozy bed.

Very nice hotel. Close to the train station. Ideal for exploring the city on foot. The hotel's neighborhood is very multicultural and lively. A diverse mix of people and cultures mingle here.

Excellent location with comfortable rooms and GREAT breakfast (not included in the price but worth every penny). Staff was very friendly, and the rooms are surprisingly large for the price

The Breakfast is very abundant and it is provided for each table and a whole pot of coffee so you can refill at any time. We are very pleased with positive. We can recommend this Hotel highly enough

Booked one night stay, including parking for our car in 2 weeks. Hotel shuttle service took us to and from Hamburg airport. I will use this fantastic hotel again next. time

Our car can stay there, and there is an excellent shuttle bus service, and also we both like the restaurant and the bar, and there is only a short walk to a small town also with restaurants and shops

Very Disoriented Reception.. Don't ever think i waited that long for a room before. And our keycard suddenly didn't work, and we had to go get a new one. But room was very much ok, and the breakfast was also very good.

Stunning hotel, food and cocktails were delicious. Rooms spacious and comfortable, shower in bathroom slightly wonky but good water pressure and temp available. Staff extremely helpful and friendly

I was on the 7th floor which means you get the lift from the lobby to the 6th then up some stairs or use a utility lift which wasn't so great. I was there for an event which was well

The hotel has a clean and fresh feel to it, the staff are multilingual so many nations are supported and it serves as a great jump off point if you are visiting Hamburg

It feels less like a family hotel and more like a couples/older couples or business hotel

Highly recommended to my Family and Friends

The Leonardo Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it's located directly on a busy street, and the street noise could be heard in the room, even at night.

I want to shout out to the reception team, all that I met on September 21st-22nd were amazing helpful and friendly, especially Big shout out to Mou! They even let me stay in the lobby after I checked out so I could wait for my train in the night

I can’t stress enough how outstanding the service here is! Staff are caring and passionate. It's definitely my go-to in Hamburg now. Rooms are great value for value, clean and neat Great for groups and solo travellers!

I had a really nice time in the 3 days I spent in Hamburg. The reception is increidible, the breakfast buffet is complete, the play zone and kitchen is clean and the customer service is exceptional

So it's a little late review but I wanted to say I did enjoy my stay here for the night very much

Was upset after the days train delays but was well welcomed and ended up in a clean room with a soft bed and fluffy pillow! Since it was late and I didn´t want to disturb my new roommates, it was hard to find everything in the room and the bathroom started buzzing when I found the light switch haha

Around the corner is a bus stop 2 bus is leaving and with whom, so during the day every ten minutes and in a short time the S-Bahn station Holstenstraße

It was perfect for me: the room was quiet, the mattress was good, check-in was easy, and the Wi-Fi reception was good. I didn't need anything more.

Location is not bad, busses stop nearby, train and subway stations are not far either. The staff was friendly throughout our stay, everything was fine. There are vending machines for snacks and drinks in the lobby area

The breakfast was quiet good, good choice and availability for a budget hotel. Only the price was too high, but that was due to a holiday weekend

Die Räume sind klein und Zweckmäßig. Da das Bad im Schlafraum integriert ist, sollen nur Personen ein Zimmer teilen, wenn sie ein sehr enges Verhältnis verbindet. Eine Stange zum trocknen der Handtücher wäre schön.

It's okay for a night or two, but nothing special. The room had a youth hostel feel. Although it faced the street, you couldn't hear it. The nearest subway or S-Bahn station is a 10-15 minute walk away.

It was a very good hotel. The only problem was the lack of Wi-Fi. I used the free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was very good. I would like to use it again.

Perfect central location and good value for money

The rooms are clean, the morning breakfast is great, and also the entrance is quite fancy, and the best thing is that the hotel is near the old town so its a great hotel if you want to visit so yeah i definitly recommend this place

The location is excellent for exploring St Pauli and transport to the harbour and main areas of Hamburg are plentiful. You are about a 10-15 minute walk from the Repperbhan

2-I asked for double duvet as there was 2 single duvets for the double bed. They brought me another single duvet and I did not ask another time
