Fantastic location opposite the main train station and close to centre of town. Clean rooms with service to replace towels and make beds daily. We had a room away from the main road but it was still quite noisy at night if the windows were open as it’s an inner city area. Our first night was very hot so we had the window open and it was noisy (noise woke us several times). The rooms are very clean but one thing was there was black mould in the grout in the shower. Very easy to spray and fix! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Hotel Amba was a great hotel for its price and location. However, it does lack some amenities that standard hotels have, like AC. That being said, a good budget value deal.

Bed bugs found. But staff were nonchalant about it and failed to provide any support and resolution. Thanks for Trip customer service team for making this unpleasant experience a little more pleasant with support rendered

The only plus point is the proximity to munich central train station and airport bus express. There is no air-condition, which might be an issue during summer. In addition, the WiFi is really very terrible. It's so weak that it's very frustrating. The room is pretty small too for twin beds.

The room is clean and staff is very nice I request for the hot water and they lend me the electric hot pot.
The location is very close to the central station and bus stop of the lufthansa express bus from airport so it’s very convenience to go out of town or to airport as it pretty close to the transport hub. The bus terminal is also in walkable range. The room still use the key not the electric lock pad but you can leave the key to the reception and take it when your’e back. There’s luggage storage room as well.

Location is great and just in front of train station. The room was very clean. Rooms are however pretty old fashioned with no coffee/tee inside the room. My bed was only 90cm wide and and very close to window (someone taller than 190cm should not fit).
Breakfast was super basic. No bacon, and low quality juice, but coffee and fruit salad was fresh.
Also, they don’t refill most items and if you go after 9:30 many things are almost over.
But overall I should say for the price it was a good hotel

The location is excellent - it is next to Munich railway station. And Lufthansa airport shuttle bus stop is literally outside the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. They loan me a kettle. And they allowed me to leave luggage. 

The room is ok. The lift is small but working well. There is hot water shower and the heating radiator worked well.  I saw a gym but I didn’t use it. 

I will definitely choose to stay at Amba again next time I visit Munich

The rooms are functional at best but the licatiin is absolutely wonderful! It is near the Central Train Station and many good eateries around. There is also the Lufthansa Express Airport Bus Service is just right outside the hotel. The breakfast is standard fare and good.
