Flemings Hotel Munchen-City

We had stayed at a Fleming's Hotel in Frankfurt and expected this hotel to be similar, but were a bit disappointed in the room's appointments.

The room was of a good size, but the wardrobe was kind of small and inadequate for a stay as long as we had planned. It would have been a good size for a single person staying for a few nights. I ended up requesting a second sling luggage holder so we could operate out of our suitcases.

There was only one chair in the room besides the desk chair. The bed was comfortable, the housekeeping staff did a good job keeping the room clean. They put out drinks for us at least every other day, including bottled water. I think they may have given us a room for handicapped guests based on the toilet, which had fold down arms that made it throne-like,

We did not eat at the restaurant except for breakfast. The breakfast buffet was outstanding in my opinion, as was the attentiveness and friendliness of the restaurant staff. On a few of the days, there was a large group of breakfast customers, which had the staff a little overwhelmed, but they certainly tried hard. When the atmosphere was a little more relaxed, they did a very good job of keeping up with customers desires.

One of the young ladies deserves particular praise, in my opinion - she saw that i had left my backpack hanging on the back of my chair after breakfast. She ran a block and a half to get it to me as we were on our way with our luggage to catch the Lufthansa Express bus to the airport. I would have figured it out when I didn't have our return tickets for the bus, but she saved us a lot of time and effort. I wish I had asked her name.

There are some advantages and disadvantages.
Pros: the location (right next to public transport), room upgrade when there was a problem
Cons: cleaning (we said twice or more for cleaning but they did not come. We stayed 5 nights, on the last day they finally cleaned the room but didn't renew the empty soap bottle.), there is not a thing in the reseption every time.

the hotel located right next to the train station, offering very convenient location. the rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. l eapecially want to highligh the two receptionists, they were excellent and provided all kinds of assistance.

Joelle at the breakfast was excellent, while all the staff were good she was great, big smile, efficient and welcoming. The front desk staff were very helpful with directions. The location, across from the train station was great! The housekeeping department was bad, I had to ask for things several times. Each time the room was cleaned there was something missing.

Very nice hotel in a central location in Munich. Clean, convenient, great breakfast, and excellent service from the staff. I personally want to compliment Shaun for his professionalism and attitude. Shaun literally went the extra mile by chasing a guest outside the hotel with a bag of goodies to give him, complimentary, to take away because he didn’t have enough time to eat. Very well done, Shaun! Keep up the good work.

First impression of the hotel reception area is pleasant, it has a minimalistic and modern look. Reception counter is a simple 3 laptop kiosk with a friendly staff to help with my check in and requests. Room size is satisfactorily and never failed to give me the 'home' feeling every day returning to my room after a day out. The cleaning crew did a good job everytime they came. The breakfast spread is excellent having varieties of bread, fruits, milk, cereals and ham etc. Eggs with bacon are served from the kitchen, hot, upon request. I only wished that the type of sausage served can change every 2 days. Will definitely chose Flemings again for my next visit when budget allows.

Very friendly staff, especially Onyi & Marcel who helped us contact the tourist places. The location is very convenient for the street walking. The only challenge is the reception area going to the lifts where big luggages will have to go through a short ram but we are young so no problem.

Simple and elegant. Lovely and functional design for both leisure and business travel. Sweet and welcoming staff. Cute little messages and gifts to make you feel welcome and special. Can tell someone really empathized with the customer journey and experience.
Really enjoyed my stay and it is quickly becoming my new favorite hotel in Munich.

Stayed for none night. Room was cozy, a bit smaller than expected but that was alright.
One of the blinds on one of the sky windows couldn't be opened and after leaving my stuff in my room, the key lock apparently ran out of battery.
The staff was nice enough and a technician helped exchange the lock, but it took a but longer than expected.
Breakfast was nice, though I missed having a Bavarian breakfast as an option.
Overall, nice experience however!
