No air conditioning. Website says partly air conditioned which apparently means fans and window open.
Staff are rude. When we asked about why it mentions air conditioning on the website (we thought maybe some rooms might have it) the front desk girl just replied saying she doesn’t write the website.
We asked to get a refund and move and she said no as you’ve checked in already. We’ve been here for 3 minutes.
Her final response was, it’s August 1 and summer of course it’s hot…

This is a great little hotel, yet another great Rick Steves recommendation! Is spotlessly clean, the beds are very comfortable, and it is in a great location - everything is about a 15 minute walk away, from Marienplatz to the museum district, and it is about a 5 minute walk to the main train station, much less to public transport. Great non -touristy street. Grocery store is around the corner, as are several pharmacies. Was a great deal for a family as well. Very friendly staff, and the hotel has a great "old Europe" feel to it (but is very modern - it's hard to explain; you'd know what I mean if you travelled in Europe in the 80s/90s). Only downside is that it is right beside the tram/streetcar tracks, so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Recommended!

The hotel is within walking distance from the center, if I count Marienplatz as center, the center is only a 10-minute walk away. You can also park here in their underground garage. The breakfast was fine, the only downside was that there was no air conditioning in the room

3 night stay was horrible. No AC even website noted rooms were w AC - we were told at check-in only some rooms have AC. Temps were mid-80s - 92 so had to leave the window open w fan to get any type of cooling. Room was facing main street w noise from businesses until 3am every night. Also public transportation running on that street also noisy since windows had to stay open because of no AC.
Horrible wifi - never could keep a connection. Never more than one bar. Staff could not offer any solution.
Rooms were small but nice so unless they get AC for all rooms I would not chance staying here during the warmer months.

WIFI is not acceptable, if you want to work some hours from your room.

Great service, receptionist spoke English as well as German, room was clean and tidy in a nice location, not far from the town or the station! Very pleasant!

New Hotel, very clean. Breakfast correct but would be a little more fresh fruit. Very close to the central station of train and 10 minutes walk to the centre. I will repeat if I come back to Munich
