David, receptionist was pleasant, welcoming and helpful.
Bartender lacked Any social skills and may want to consider the hospitality industry for his job.
Receptionist Miriam was also welcoming but the other 2 female reception staff were grumpy.

I cannot say enough things about Miriam at the front desk. She helped us in a very desperate situation. Our Airbnb was completely not what was advertised and last minute we had to scramble to find a place to stay she was unbelievably accommodating and kind. Just for her we would come back and stay here

Lovely hotel and pleasant reception team. Important to know that entrance is on pedestrian only shopping street with no access to cars and so you have to walk a bit with a luggage. Would be nice if the website or in email communication the management would at least specify that. I was dropped off by the Uber driver in the rain on adjacent street and had to figure a way to walk to the hotel with a luggage. Yes, some local drivers will know that but not all drivers are local.

I’ve stayed at this hotel twice. The location is great and the breakfast is exceptional - many good options, including vegan and healthy.
The one problem is that the bottom two categories of rooms are extremely small - room for the bed and maybe a suitcase, but hard to squeeze past. If you don’t plan to spend much time in your room, this might be ok for you. And at times these small rooms are also quite expensive - over 200€
But if you manage to get a good price on one of the bigger rooms, this hotel is a great choice.

I had a wonderful time staying at this modern and charming hotel. The room was comfortable and well-equipped, and the central location offered easy access to a lovely shopping street, bars, and restaurants. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay in old town Munich.

Clean rooms, comfortable bed, good service and great location. Walkable to everything with tons of restaurants. Wifi is poor and no coffee is offered in the room. There is a 2 euro charge for coffee in the lobby. Rooms are small with no chairs to sit in. Breakfast is expensive. Not sure I would recommend for more than a few days.

We have stayed at AMANO hotel in London and now in Munich. Trendy, new, and clean rooms. Rooms are small, but all you would need when you are visiting a city. What made this location special was the service and its friendly staff. In particular, wanted to thank both Patrick and David that have been absolutely great.

Can’t believe this is only a 3-star hotel! The interior and rooms are beautifully decorated and perfectly clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. It has a good breakfast buffet and amenities. Although it isn’t accessible by car, the hotel recommends a nearby parking garage and the hotel’s location is perfect for getting around the city, shopping and sightseeing. Definitely recommend for exploring München.

Central location, 10 mins walking to literally everything you could ever need. Very quiet, clean. Staff is friendly and worked diligently to get us an early check in at 10am even though check in is at 3. Rooms are small so be prepared. Otherwise clean, modern, rain shower head, comfy pillows. There's a bar and breakfast area but the bar was never open and breakfast was too pricey for the limited options.

Great location for anyone that wants to be close to everything! My fiance and I stayed here for several days this summer. (2024) and had a wonderful time. The front desk was very helpful guiding us on where to go and what to do. Everyone spoke great english was was very kind. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping offered to come by daily. The water pressure and temperature were great. Really no compliments from us! I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for just a nice comfy bed in the middle of Munich.
