It is everything you need without the overpriced attitude. The staff is quiet, yet helpful when asked. I will stay again without question if I come back to the city. Side note- no microwave if you're looking for one
It is very close to everything. I stayed in a single room on a twin bed. I am surprised at how comfortable the bed was for its size. I haven't slept so well in a while
While the hotel obviously isn't decorated to 5 star standards, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the beds ridiculously comfy, the showers goes as hot as you like
There was a thermos of hot water for tea at the entrance, and I appreciated that. The tea itself wasn't good quality so I used my own, but nonetheless it's a good service to offer to clients
It's 6 or 7 minutes walk in a straight line to the main train station so impossible to rate this other than 5 stars for the price!
Good tub and clean, hot water

Came to Munich for Oktoberfest and loved this hotel! We felt safe and comfortable during our stay, and the location couldn't be beat - central to great restaurants and close to the fair grounds and train stations
all staff were very kind and attentive, and Tobias was so helpful for two silly Americans who can get lost in their own homes. He gave us great suggestions and maps for getting around the city
Very nice experience in hotel Andra and in the beautiful Bayern. Smooth from check-in to check out. Adequate sized rooms and nice breakfast. Sure will revisit, if staying in Munich
I stayed Hotel Andra room 50 for one day. Friendly receptionist, gorgeous breakfast, very clean bedroom and shower room. It takes about 15-30 minutes to Munich central station and main sightseeing spots by foot
PS - Tobias, you're the bomb haha! We found our way to the CORRECT train station and made it home to Boston safe :)
Rooms are just what i needed for my stay, having everything i needed

Liked: location close to S Bahn, interior, service, breakfasts, rooms
Some of the rooms are a bit on the basic side and others a bit odd to British tastes, for example, an open planned bathroom. They are however very clean and a little bag of Haribo on your pillow every day is very welcome
Very nice hotel with cozy atmosphere close to Munich. Time to airport and downtown 30 Minutes by car. But in rushhour double.... On the other hand nice staff, very nice breakfast and good location 😃
It is a very nice hotel. It is walking distance to the train to Munich. They have nice rooms. The included breakfast is very nice too.
Breakfast is free and of a decent quality though you might have to wait a while for bacon as supply can't match demand
I liked it, but nothing stood out as exceptional.

Apart from the slum lords, sleeping drunks and clientele from several nearby brothels which litter the street, the hotel is in a nice spot right by the central train station, walking distance from the city centre and if you are hungry for doner there are simply too many options to choose from
Pretty standard rooms, clean and spacious. The only issue is the location, don’t let the pictures fool you when you walk around this area it’s like a scene straight out of the film city of god
Good night sleep was saved then :) I can recommend this place if you look for a clean and functional room (with a good wifi connection) in the city center
Location is excelent and many small restaurants and groceries that opens until more than 20:00. This is the time where everything is closed in Munich. All transportation is at 100 metres
After collecting myself and taking the towels from the outstretched hand that had entered my room, I asked him how to lock my door from the inside, however he seemed to not have the time to explain as he quickly scurried away without remark holding only an annoyed look on his face
Even though I was grateful for the towels I was a little taken back by the enthusiasm with which he wanted to give them to me

We stayed at Hotel Kriemhild during a family spring break trip to Germany. We had two adjoining rooms for our family of 4. The rooms were bright, clean, and comfortable. The windows opened to let in fresh air
The bathrooms were clean and towels provided. The beds were typical of a European style with a seam down the middle and two separate thick, warm comforters. There was a small refrigerator in the room and tv
I can’t say enough wonderful things! The entire hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was extremely comfortable and quiet. The members of the hotel staff were polite and answered all of our questions
We were in Munich for Oktoberfest and needed instructions about how to easily reach the fairgrounds. We were given great directions and were even able to purchase a daily transit ticket right there
Our car was safely parked in their lot. Breakfast was served in a charming room with fresh choices. Highly recommend this wonderful small hotel over anything large and impersonal!
Unbeknownst to us until our arrival, a friend of our family had arranged with the hotel staff to surprise our children with little baskets of Easter candy in their room

A conveniently located, good value, quiet hotel just outside Munich's old town, with close proximity to the train, tram, and car rental companies. Whilst the rooms have a more classic decor, they are well maintained
The kitchenette is surprisingly spacious for small meals and is equipped with the basics. Of particular note is the service which is incredibly friendly and helpful
Ventilation is fine in the autumn/winter but is generally best assisted by opening up the balcony window, which does open the room up to some street noise
The shower area on the room on floor 5 we had was way different as the one on floor 4 my other reservation had. Besides that, everything was good
We stayed for two three-night stays during Oktoberfest. We stayed in two different rooms. The first room had an updated bathroom, although the rest of the room needed some minor touch-ups
If u cannot sleep in night noise from street is not for u, but I did not mind

Worthed! With similar price to other comercial budget hotels, we stayed in a spacious room and with a huge balcony. The staff cleans the room and change the towels once every 2days without request
The location is a little outside of the center of Munchen, called small Solln town ,but otherwise it's a really great hotel! I'll do hope will be back some time here after 24 years long ago i stay for several months in this hotel for my job assigment at Siemens Telecommunication last May 20, 2000, there is special time in my life and to take the great time i take a part of my Son Andrejassi Pegasolln...
There is a pod coffee machine in the room including few capsules and cremers, and a fridge. The downside is the location bit far from city esp if you plan to come back late
Clean, spacious, peaceful place. Even when we got inside for the first time, the receptionist was very kind and trying to help. Kindness is that you will see in the hotel
Great moment, i'll be back soon in the future. Jaya Damanik-Pagar Batu-Indonesia
There is Edeka express, a bakery shop, and a restaurant just across the street

The hotel seemed friendly and rustic at the beginning but I barely seen a staff member for the eight days I was there, the pillows were two shallow and I couldn't find someone go ask for another, no shampoo's were left for us and the towels were hard
We stayed here when we came for Oktoberfest. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Each room does not have its own bathroom, but does have a sink and mirror for hygiene. There is one toilet per wing
There was a nice variety of options in a buffet style. The room that the breakfast was in was beautiful. The location of the hotel was only a short walk to the train
The location of the hotel was great, public transport is just across the street. The breakfast was good and the staff there was very nice
All in all it was clean and okay but being "welcomed" like this, rudely and without any given information, it was difficult to enjoy the rest of our stay, for there is no second chance for a first impression
Shower on 2nd floor near room 10 has reverse temperature Cold = Hot, Hot = Cold. Wi-Fi keeps dropping and has significantly delay /latency. I am an IT professional and the WiFi is not set up properly

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is included and has a wide selection. The rooms are modern and clean. Our room had a great view of the street below. With the windows closed noise was not an issue.
Hotel lux was amazing. The rooms are so comfortable and the breakfast is out of the world. The reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
on a bed of 1,40 m na sleep?" right? The price remained the Same, not even the 11€ for the Breakfast wanted you for my wife. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Price is high level, very romantic ambiance
The employees made the difference for my group and me. Leonie, the hotel manager accommodated my many and changing requests. Maia, the morning manager handled breakfast and answered our questions about everything
Amazing cute cocktail spot in the heart of Munich. From the states and have had ALOT of yummy cocktails- these bartenders at awesome. Friendly and delicious drinks. Just go- thank me later
Stayed in the hotel which was fine but Review is mainly for the bar. Service is friendly and relaxed which goes hand in hand with the chilled vibe and cool tunes

Very wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, and everything was at the highest level, I recommend it to everyone.
Close to the Starbierfest hall
Very nice hotel, well located, excellent service, very complete breakfast. 100% recommended. We will return soon. Thank you .
Lovely hotel in great location - staff lovely and great breakfast - WiFi not great and there is some building work inside at the moment —June/July which did cause a disturbance. Mattress was too soft for husband
Located along a river with a small forest and a big park nearby, which is nice for jogging or walking. Airport is reachable by train in about half hour, with a station just 10 minutes walking distance from hotel

The floor was slightly dusty but otherwise quite clean. Would highly recommend this hotel
I stayed at Hotel Helvetia in Munich on the 13th of April 2025 & I found it to be a reasonably good hotel property with a clean room, clean sheets, soft mattresses, clean wash room with basic ameneties, a wee bit small room but good enough for a confortable stay
The total is close to the center of the city.
Easy walk from the Munich Central Train Station. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room is quiet, has air conditioning, toilet, bathroom and a kettle to make hot drinks
I was able to leave my luggage with the front desk after I checked out so that I could explore the old town with a lighter load. What can be improved would be the room. The room had all the basics and was clean as well
In my ~24 hours there, I saw 3 different front desk staff and all 3 were friendly, especially the staff when I checked in (didn’t get his name but found out from talking to him that he’s from Albania)

It has stylish, modern and clean rooms. All staffs are exceptionally friendly. My stay there was nice but I was annoyed by people in the street chatting loudly until 2 am almost every night of my 3 days stay
What a nice hotel! We spend 4 nights and every detail proved that they deserve 5 stars from us. Rooms is quite big, bathroom is very good and our small balcony was a bonus
Also, I had problems to open the shower once, it got stuck. The breakfast is good but a little expensive, for that price I would expect a buffet. But in general, I would stay again in this hotel and recommend it
We enjoyed every moment we stayed there but mostly the breakfast deserves a round of applause. This is not an open buffet but the dishes they bring is outrageous
We will definitely prefer this hotel for our next stay too
We loved the days we spent in the hotel. The building is beautiful, far from a standard hotel, and the people in the front desk are amazing and helpful. We loved the silence and the localization

Great place for a stay in Munich. Great location near train station and across the street from the old Town. High Calibre staff and a top class room with all the amenities
This is a vintage designer hotel. Atmosphere is chilling yet graceful, unique and delicate decoration is subtle with a hint of romantic
Nice 5 star hotel close to many tourist attractions. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good sized modern rooms.
A drink at the bar it's a must to see a high class bar operation
Overall style of the hotel is older/classical. Bed is comfortable, but on the low side. Blankets and pillows are down. There's an indoor jacuzzi and sauna but no swimming pool

Absolutely cool form me as a solo traveler, Considering Munich prices pretty on budget and close to Metro station. No noise around since its a quiet zone on the outskirt of town.
Came here with my sister and it felt very safe. Rooms were very clean. Shared bathrooms had lots of privacy and were always clean. Service was great and the owner was very nice.
We were 11 in the Guesthouse and were very satisfied. The rooms were clean and for a Board that has just voted everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful
It was good because it wasn't far from the subway station and the price was cheap.
Attending the exhibition, the first day was over, beautiful city, hotel location is very good. Many good restaurants are around, and the hotel breakfast is good, the service is very good.
The room, environment and facilities are relatively old and simple, and the shower area is very small. There is no elevator; the heating is sufficient.

Maybe we had a special room or some major renovations happened recently but the standard in the room was really high From RC Velux blinds to under floor Heating and super modern roomy bathrooms both upstairs and downstairs
They had a little kitchen with a fridge and microwave which was so helpful when travelling with small kids. There is a cafe opposite and a lovely bavarian pub next door that had lovely food and beer/wine
There is a tram and bus stop close by for getting around easily. The room price per night was so reasonable especially when Germany can be quite expensive but we had such a lovely stay
Close proximity of huge Munich graveyard makes for a unique, but different experience. Make sure your travel agent or travelsite sends you the code to the key lockbox in advance
We stayed in the executive apartment on the ground floor with another 2 couples and their kids who were staying in the standard room. The rooms were clean and spacious
Roomy, clean, modern, and well-appointed apartments. Even though off-site, the staff is very attentive and friendly

Parking is available not far from the hotel for €17 per day — quite reasonable compared to other hotels in the area that charge up to €35. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained
The staff are extremely friendly and professional, and they speak several languages, which makes communication very easy. They explain everything clearly and are always willing to help
A great stay for Oktoberfest!! Conveniently located about halfway between Hauptbahnhof and the Weisn, but still quiet from the crowds. Very friendly staff, good breakfast selection. Room was clean and comfortable
The room was exceptionally clean and spacious by European standards; comfortably accommodating three adults without feeling cramped—a rare find! The location is ideal, with a tram stop right outside the front door
I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel which was literally steps from the Oktoberfest grounds. Please give my appreciation and highest regards to the front desk lady she’s truly a treasure
They even send you a link that allows you to unlock both the main entrance and your room door directly from your phone, with no registration required — a very modern and convenient feature

Amazing Boutique Hotel with very friendly and professional staff and the best location you can ask for. Beautiful and clean rooms with great ambiance. There is no better place to stay in Munich.
Nestled right at the heart of the vibrant Viktualienmarkt, the hotel’s location offered a unique charm, allowing us to witness the bustling market being set up each morning—a delightful start to our day

If someone is up to visit München or to explore the beauty of Bayern, then this is the right hotel. The hotel is in a very strategic position, with so many markets, cafés and restaurants around
The bathroom was clean with so many clean towels, shampoo, soap, and hairdryer. The personal was also really friendly. So to sum up, I am top satisfied 😌 👍👍
Didn't deal with the staff a lot because we arrived/departed outwit opening hours. I also really loved that you can get your room cleaned without asking just by turning the do not disturb sign round to the other side
It was big two windows in two directions, three comfortable beds, two armchairs, a couch table, a dining table, a kitchen with a fridge, a kettle and so many other things
It's also directly opposite to the train station, which was a plus point, so we left our car in the deep garage and we took the train to our destinations
Great and fast communication via email. Everything went smoothly from booking to check-in. Very uncomplicated. Thank you!

Cosy and quiet; very friendly English spoken personnel. Be attentive on Saturdays breakfast: there can be many people, and all seats may be taken. So it's wise to come earlier for your breakfast on Saturday :)
I've never had a Happy Hour so good Cocktails without compromising on quality. The cuisine is a mixture of Asian, Mexican, American, but also classic German dishes, so something for everyone appealing
Nice rooms with very friendly staff and despite the renovations it was a great overall experience taking into consideration the affordable prices in pricey Munich

Great location! Right next to the station. Use the tram (16) to go to English Garden (stop Tivoli street) with the same tram you can stop right in the centre or walk it cause it’s very close
Hidden gem that is great as a base to explore Munich and surrounds. Walking distance to historic downtown, museums, university campus, and easy access to central train station and metro
