The staff is friendly and welcoming.
The location is conveniently located (walking is 20 mins from the station, 30 mins from the center and literally in front of the area where they do the Oktoberfest and the Winter festival).
The room is very comfortable, big highlights: the bed (loved it!!) and the bathroom (recently renovated with amazing shower!)
The design of the room was a little "forced", I was expecting something cooler from the pictures. No big deal though and maybe more expensive rooms were nicer.

Location was not the greatest. Room was decorated in odd way. We were assigned to a red color themed one with a mix of a geisha wallpaper in bathroom and chairman mao wallpaper on the bedroom wall. Very small room. Only saving grace was the young man working during our stay at night, he was amazing as a one man show.

A reasonabley priced hotel one stop away from the main station by U Bahn. Each room is decorated differently. They was very comfortable and the linen high-quality. The bathroom is extremely clean and to a very high standard. Breakfast is a typical continental style, i.e. cheese, meats, cereals, et cetera and more than ample.

My husband and I visited from the states for an NFL Game and it was the perfect location! We truly enjoyed our stay and the front desk staff were all amazing. We had one guy check us in and I can’t remember his name but he’s one we will never forget! So nice and made sure to help us with any questions we had. Definitely will be returning to attend Oktoberfest as this is a Prime location.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, on June 2024. It's located in front of the Oktoberfest area, at only 300 meters from the subway station, with a nice view.
Our room was big and comfortable, with a great bathroom. Everything always was clean and well cared. Only the mattress was too soft.
The hotel has an elevator, a bar, and pleasant common areas. The breakfast was good, with good options on the buffet. The staff is friendly and the communication was easy. It was a nice stay.

80s furniture, crt small TV, yellowed plastics in the bathroom, no lift working and a really poor booking experience with one of the hotel representative that spoke almost no English. The good things: big rooms, friendly staff and ok breakfast.

The reviews for the Hotel were however very different, so that we (were excited my wife and I), what's waiting for us actually.
When we arrived last week, unfortunately, was the Elevator not working. In a room on the third floor (there is a slightly older wooden staircase goes up), this was then but a little uncomfortable. During our stay the Elevator (for obvious reasons, could not be repaired - which were described to us), unfortunately.
Unpleasant it was, therefore, because temperatures - also in the night of about 30 degrees.
Now to the individual points:
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I would give 4 to 5 stars.
The Breakfast was good and sufficient.
I would give 4 stars.
Now to the room the furnishings of the bedrooms and living room was in order and dignity, even taking into account the price (of course, it is time to the Wies'n-significantly more expensive - we were lucky that no special event) - 3 stars.
In the bathroom, however, something of the "Tooth of time has gnawed".
Therefore, I would give this only 2 stars.
The view from the third floor in the direction of the "Wies'n" was super.
A disadvantage was at such temperatures that there was no air-conditioned rooms.
Conclusion: For the price that we have paid to this point in time, as it says, the 3-star rating (okay).
If of course you have to pay, for example, to the "Wies'n time," the multiple, the price - performance ratio do not match (what will be, but generally speaking, in Munich).
We would take the Hotel again (but probably not for hot summer time).

Nice Hotel in a Prime location; friendly staff; rooms are functionally furnished; the Breakfast buffet is in order.

We were at the beginning of June in the Hotel Krone and we were very disappointed. We were welcomed very silently (not brief description of our rooms, the location, the Breakfast, the Breakfast room is where). The view from the room was beautiful meadow directly to the Theresien - which was the only Positive.
In the bathroom the hair from the Vorbewohnern and the shower had a curtain was mouldy. The furniture and the floor-probably have suffered a bit under the pointed to the visitors and it looked very tatty. The Windows were decorated on the frame with mold spores.
All in all, we can't recommend this Hotel....
