Mercure Hotel München Süd Messe

It is close to the convention center, but far from the city, and there is nothing to eat around. The breakfast is rich, and the room facilities are average. The price-performance ratio is not high.

The hotel where I stayed during the exhibition is more than 5 kilometers away from the exhibition hall.
1. The hotel is relatively old, but it is clean and the stay experience is OK.
2. The breakfast is average, the same every day, there is nothing to eat, if breakfast is not included, it is not worth spending extra money to buy it.
3. There are steps at the door, if the luggage is heavy, it is difficult to pull, and no one helps.
4. There is a bus stop at the door, the transportation is relatively convenient, and the nearest shopping mall is four or five bus stops away, which is very convenient.
5. The service attitude of the front desk is normal, and the attitude of cleaning the room is very good.
6. I booked two room types, a single room and a premium room, which are actually the same. What is the point of booking a premium room? I asked the hotel to refund the price difference but it did not refund it. It said that it was indeed equipped according to the premium room, but it was completely inconsistent with the pictures provided by Ctrip. This is quite annoying.

A bit far but convenient with public transport near hotel.

The location is not that great. You need to take a taxi to get anywhere, and the distance is not that close. The breakfast is quite rich. The room is old, the facilities are just so-so, and the heating in the room cannot be adjusted. I will not stay here again.

Very close to Munich downtown with only 15-20EUR taxi

We had a really good stay here, comfortable beds, beautiful space, good location, easy buses to places, Ubers know where to go and somewhat friendly staff.
The only problem is we had a fire alarm at 2.45am where we had to evacuate the building and there was no mention of it or any type of compensation (free breakfast, free juice/snacks or even a discount on a next stay) nothing as if it never happened.

There was a few issues with cleaning (dirty cotton pad in bathroom and hairs on the floor, but nothing that I couldn’t clean with tissues myself.

I’ve also just seen that they only reply to the 5 star reviews, so clearly lacking some basic constructive customer service.

I would use this hotel in the future, and these are just minor inconveniences that can be dealt with.

Ideally located, staff swapped our room as original room safe not working. Very friendly and approachable staff. Parking easily accessible. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

It's near to the bus station and the room is clean and large.

Nice atmosphere, young and welcoming staff. Hotel a little out of the way, but good value for money for Munich!

The hotel's location is good, though a bit far from the city center - less than 30 minutes - bus+subway.
Bus stations are close to the hotel. There is a nice shopping center 10 minutes by bus - with coffees and some nice restaurants to eat there.
Room is spacy enough, clean.
The prices were significantly lower than in the same-level hotels in the city center.
