Super 8 by Wyndham Munich City North

Was there between the 6th and 8th of November for a business trip. The bald receptionist had a horribly rude attitude towards us. At one point he was mocking us in German, to our faces, not knowing we could understand. Given that they had trouble figuring out what our company had booked and paid for, he suggested in a rude way to accommodate us on the 5th floor (they don't have one) on mattresses...on top of this the rooms had zero heating, their heating system was a joke. Freezing cold in the rooms, but t-shirt temperature in the lobby. The bathroom door did not close, when you would take a shower you could get even the hallway wet, there was no floor heating in the bathroom although there was a button for it...My room had even a family of cockroaches so imagine what a lovely stay it was. Trying to find a positive: ok breakfast and lovely staff at the breakfast area - this was the only real plus I could find.

No recommended for Family and Friends. only for single person.

TOILET and bathroom do not have proper locking doors, ventilation system and most crazy thing is Bathroom has no walls. It is just a glass partition with no curtains from inside.

RIDICULOUS House keeping staff is DAMN annoying.
They use to Enter directly in room by their KEY CARD and ask for room service again and again which was most irritating.

How can some one directly enter room without knocking ??????
This happened all 3 days of our stays even if I had sign - DO NOT DISTURB outside my room.

We arrived around 11 pm and only lady who did check in process was really kind treated with respect.
Rest, I would say I was lucky every thing was working fine in room. AC, water , light etc etc

Else I am not sure how staff would have treated us.

**Disappointing Stay - Would Not Recommend!**

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Upon arrival, we found a large spider on the wall of our room, which was unsettling. To make matters worse, the room itself was not clean – there were small creatures on the floor (as seen in the photo we shared with reception).

When we reported these issues, we were moved to a different room on the opposite side of the building. While this seemed like a solution, we quickly discovered that we could not connect to the internet. We informed the reception, and they casually mentioned that the rooms down the hallway couldn't connect to the internet and shrugged it off with, "Sorry, can't do anything about it!"

What I find troubling is that we were still charged the same rate as other rooms, despite not having a basic amenity like internet access. Shouldn't there be a consideration in pricing for such inconveniences?

Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I certainly won’t be returning. I also cannot recommend this hotel to others based on the lack of cleanliness and poor customer service.

Floors in bathroom were dirty, curtain stained, toilet was not cleaned thoroughly and shampoo bottle in the shower was empty.

Bed was ok and comfy but would not stay again.

Apparently a very beautiful hotel, but the location is far from the center. The receptionist was very impatient and rude, seeming like he was working against his will. We checked in around 10:30 PM. The kitchen was open with pizza options, but we do not eat pork and all available options had pork. We decided to order delivery from outside the hotel and, to our surprise, when the delivery arrived, the reception did not inform us, and the delivery left with our food. This happened simply because of the lack of effort from the reception. I do not recommend staying here.
Very neglectful of the customer, horrible service.

Air conditioning doesn't work at all. 🫠 I asked about the problem. The receptionist was unfriendly and didn't apologize.
Breakfast is good but service ppl are very sloppy.
